Casa El Delfin ist ein dreistöckiges Haus, nur wenige Schritte von einem der schönsten und ruhigsten Strände an der Pazifikküste in Oaxaca, Mexiko, entfernt. Es liegt an der Bucht von Estacahuite, nur 5 Minuten von Puerto Angel (einem kleinen Fischerdorf) und 45 Minuten vom Flughafen Huatulco entfernt. Der Meerblick vom Haus aus ist unvergesslich. Du kannst während deines gesamten Aufenthalts jeden Tag wunderschöne Sonnenauf- und -untergänge genießen. Du hast uneingeschränkten Zugang zu drei Stränden, an denen du schnorcheln, schwimmen, tauchen oder einfach nur die Geräusche und den Duft der Meeresluft genießen kannst. In dieser Gegend gibt es einige der schönsten Korallenriffe und Fische. Am Strand in der Nähe des Hauses befinden sich mehrere Open-Air-Restaurants und -Bars sowie kleine Lebensmittelgeschäfte in der Nachbarschaft, die euch den Aufenthalt erleichtern. Das ist wirklich das Paradies.

Die „Casa El Delfin“ besteht aus drei separaten Apartments, die jeweils über einen eigenen Eingang verfügen und alle mit durchgängigem WLAN-Zugang sowie Klimaanlage ausgestattet sind. Alle Fenster lassen sich öffnen und sind mit Fliegengittern versehen. Alle Betten haben integrierte Nachttische mit Lampen und Stromanschluss. In jedem Schlafzimmer gibt es eine Kommode und eine Sitzecke. Außerdem steht ein Bungalow/eine Palapa auf dem Dach zur Vermietung bereit.

Casa El Delfin, 2. Etage (Apartment 1) – DIESES ANGEBOT – verfügt über 1 Schlafzimmer, 1 Badezimmer, eine voll ausgestattete Wohnküche und ein Wohnzimmer mit Smart-TV. Wohnung 1 verfügt über 1 Kingsize-Bett und bietet Platz für 2 Personen. Sie ist komplett möbliert und in allen Räumen klimatisiert. Um in den 2. Stock zu gelangen, muss eine kleine Treppe hinaufgestiegen werden.

Die anderen Teile des Hauses können ebenfalls gemietet werden.

Alle Etagen teilen sich einen gesicherten Parkplatz und einen Grillplatz. Außerdem gibt es reichlich Parkmöglichkeiten an der Straße. Wenn die 3. Etage (Dachbungalow/Palapa) nicht vermietet ist, haben alle Gäste uneingeschränkten Zugang zur Dachterrasse, um sich zu sonnen und die wunderschöne Aussicht zu genießen. Jede Etage verfügt über einen eigenen Terrassenbereich mit Hängematten, von denen aus man den Meerblick genießen kann. Außerdem gibt es Tische, Stühle und Bänke zum Essen im Freien. Kajaks und Schwimmwesten stehen unseren Gästen zur Verfügung. Es gibt Außenüberwachungskameras, die rund um die Uhr in Betrieb sind.

Ein Mitarbeiter des Hauses steht euch rund um die Uhr zur Verfügung und wird euch bei eurer Ankunft begrüßen und hereinlassen.

Wir haben Außenüberwachungskameras (ohne Ton). Es gibt keine Kameras im Innenbereich. Sie sind an den Eingängen zum Grundstück und in den Durchgangsbereichen der Außenterrasse installiert. Diese sind ständig in Betrieb. Dies dient der Haftungsabdeckung und der Sicherheit unserer Gäste.

Magical Mexico

A beautiful small apartement hotel. Stunnng views of the ocean and beach from the veranda.Very comfortable with everything you need to cook, snorkel, kayak or relax... Luis ,the owner, is very welcoming, generous and helpful. Casa Delfin is also very close to many sights, Ventanilla , Mazunte and Zipolite. We had a magical time!

We'd like to respond to this guest's review. She mentioned that there was an odor in the apartment. We not only messaged her every morning to see how things were doing and asked if she needed anything but our staff also asked her. She never responded to any of my VRBO messages and never spoke with our staff. She also states that she left half-way through her stay. This is false. She stayed until her check-out date and never mentioned anything to us about an odor. If we knew there was a problem, we would have addressed it ASAP. Pets are more than welcome to our place. We ask for a fee up front and it is noted on our property listing. She brought a pet and didn't mention it. Our staff member did notify us of this. I messaged her that we have a pet fee and if she could please pay the $20usd to our staff. The next day she threw the money at our staff. From that point forward, she disrespected our staff and didn't acknowledge them during the remainer of the stay. She left the apartment a mess with pet urine and pet vomit in our parking lot. We will not tolerate this type of behavior from a guest towards our staff members and will not rent to this guest again.

Ultimate getaway

The property is located literally steps away from three secluded beaches in the small community of Estacahuite. We snorkeled in the reef, did sea kayaking, visited a local market, relaxed on the beach. There are several restaurants right around, and the food was excellent (mostly fresh seafood). Very authentic. We really enjoyed our stay. Only wished we knew more Spanish to be able to relate with the people around us. Muchisimas gracias!

Second year and counting

Location is key!! In Estecahuite you can’t get any closer to the ocean than casa el delfin! Amazing views and literally steps from the beach. The beach is not overly touristy either. If u are looking for an alternative to your all inclusive resort definitely book this place! Also this place is run by an independent outfit aka family. Extremely responsive if you have any issues. It is not as easy to get to as Haultuco or Puerto Escondido but it is as beautiful and more authentic.

Spectacular views!

The owners Luis and Falisha, were the best! Very hospitable, including getting us to our room from the airport. The proximity to beaches was great with good snorklimg right off the shore. The deck off the room is situated good for shade and breeze, with a great view. I will say our dinners at the nearby restaurants were not as .good as the Google reviews. The breakfasts were better. For e few dollars each way you can take a taxi to Puerto Angel with much better options. Andrea and Ashley who look after the place in the owners absence are top notch as well, super friendly! Overall we highly recomend Casa el Dolphin.

Place of solitude

Upon arrival we were welcomed personally and introduced to the property. This is a lovely building with an exceptional view of this little bay. We were on the 2nd floor with comfortable bed, a/c, fully usable kitchette. There was even a place for our car rental. We enjoyed the 3 little beaches and snorkeled around the rock formations. Beautful sand and clear water! So pretty! It is a bit away from regular tourist places but that was what we were looking for. We cannot thank our guide and hosts enough for being so helpful and we felt pampered by their attention to details. We had a beautiful, quiet time here and wished we could have stayed longer. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, just what we expected!!!

We loved waking up to such an idyllic setting and hearing the ocean below. The beach was so close, 20 steps away! We stayed for 3 weeks- and it was an amazingly restful spot. Andrea and Reyna were extremely helpful and wonderfully hospitable. And our host Luis was quick to answer any questions. We stayed on 2nd floor in room 2 with the king size bed. The outside hammock was roomy enough for two. The AC was great! And the wifi was good. Only one storm in 3 weeks- and they were quick to reset the modem. If one is after quaint and quiet, then Casa El Delfín will serve you extraordinarily well.

Great location, great people, all night rap music

Could not have a better location with an essentially private beach used only by locals with several beach restaurants with fresh seafood. Staff and owner were super helpful. Just a short taxi ride to Puerto Angel (40-50 pesos). The bummer is that there is a bar right next to the property that plays load music (and a lot of rap) late into the night. On our last night, it went all night--still blasting when we left at 7:30 AM. Really a shame as the ocean sounds would otherwise be great. We would not stay another night--which is such a shame as it was out of the control of the owners and staff. Just an inconsiderate neighbor bar tuning what would otherwise be a paradise.

Hello Guy, Thank you for your honest review. We wish we could have known of the noise issue earlier with the neighbor, as we could have spoken with them about it. There must have been a special occasion since we have not had any other complaints from guests. We do plan on changing the windows in that apartment. We do hope you consider returning to Casa El Delfin. We wish you well.

We were robbed by the owners

After paying in full fir a month stay, we informed the owners via email that we had to postpone our trip due to sudden cancer treatment. We did not know when the treatment would end and spoke of possible dates later in the year. The owners emailed on the day of our earlier planned arrival wondering when we would be there. We reiterated our earlier conversations. They told us we still needed to pay for the month as we had not made a new date arrangement. We believe the owners are crooks. They knew full well in advance of our change in plans due to extenuating circumstances. May they live with themselves and await legal action in the future.

Back on 12/15/22, the guest asked if they could alter their dates. At that time, we said that's fine as long as the apartment was available and that we get specific dates from them to move the reservation. We were unable to move their reservation of 28 nights tentatively to another month without assurance that they would be able to make this time frame. We are only able to alter the dates with specific dates and availability of the apartment. At that time, they had an option to cancel the reservation and get a full refund and then book when they were ready in the future. They said they would keep in touch. We did not hear back from them giving us specific dates. I messaged them on 2/13/23 asking for their arrival time they mentioned that they were not going to show. They had responded that they still didn't have specific dates in mind. Even if they did, that would not have given us enough time to rent the apartment. They had an option to cancel with no penalty but chose not to do that. Thanks.

Fantastic! But A few MUST KNOWS

The apartment is exactly as pictured and was fabulous. Andrea & Blanca were SO helpful ! Luis was very quick to respond to any queries. That was all greatly appreciated! The apartment is well appointed. There was water, coffee and paper products generously provided! The bed was firm but quite comfortable. Be aware that there is a hill to go up from the property to get into town. The distance is certainly easy to walk ; but the hill might be challenging for some. I know some travellers that strictly took taxis ; as they did not want to navigate the hill. This is also rural Mexico , so there are a lot of noisy dogs, chickens, loud motorcycles and sometimes late noise from the restaurant. Also , be aware that the couple of restaurants in the immediate neighborhood; close early. So if you want to eat out ; you need to be out for supper before 6:00 PM. If you are like us and enjoy a location that has; great snorkeling, great access to beaches, great views, consistently beautiful weather , with lovely warm local residents ; then you will want to stay here!

Perfect beachfront location!

We had an amazing week in Estacahuite! Felicia and Luis’s apartments are perfectly located just steps from the beach. We stayed in apartment 1 and enjoyed our mornings on the deck, watching the sun rise and the local fish boats returning with the daily catch, and our afternoons watching the humpback whales. The apartment is super clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and go out of their way to make sure guests feel at home. Luis picked us up from the airport in Huatulco (for a very reasonable fee) and suggested we stop at an authentic restaurant for dinner on our way back to Estacahuite (Finca de Vaqueros- it’s a must-do and you will have the best fajitas you will ever eat!). Felicia was available by phone or email, and would always answer questions immediately. The beach at Estacahuite is beautiful; a small, tranquil bay with three sandy areas and excellent snorkelling. Casa Delfin provides snorkelling equipment and ocean kayaks, for their guests’ use. There are local restaurants all along the beach, serving the freshest seafood for lunch. Our favourite was El Ripio; their ceviches and cocteles de camarónes were so delicious. The quaint fishing village of Puerto Angel is about 2 km away, and is a good walk up and down a few hills. Here you’ll find a couple of good restaurants and the basic supplies you’ll need. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday surrounded by friendly locals, then Casa Delfin is the place to be!

Fabulous suite with a stunning view

This spacious 2 room suite was perfect for our 2 week stay. Everything was well appointed and Andrea was very helpful. The best thing is that the Casa is literally above the steps to the beach. The atmosphere with the local visitors and the restaurant owners on the beach is wonderful! We also saw whales about 4 times during this period. The snorkeling at Playa Estacahuite is excellent.

Excellent accommodation in an uncrowded beach location

This is a very new property, excellently maintained and cleaned. The owners of the property, who also have a home in the Northeast U.S., were onsite during our stay and did everything possible to insure a great experience. There is a beach adjacent to the property, and several other beaches, as well as many restaurants, are accessible by inexpensive taxi, some also by a short walk.

You are literally just steps away from one of the most beautiful and peaceful beaches in the area. Casa el Delfin is suited for all guests, whether you're on your honeymoon or vacationing with your whole family, we can accommodate you. Our home is very spacious, clean, secure, cozy and welcoming. If you're looking for paradise, you've found it here. This is the perfect place to relax and spoil yourself with all the natural beauty that surrounds you. This is a very friendly, safe, area full of the richness of the Mexican culture, good food and shopping from artesans for keepsakes. If you're looking for the night life, just minutes away you'll find nearby Puerto Angel, Zipolite and Mazunte.

Puerto Angel (small fishing village) is a short walk away by the main road and you'll find a couple of small supermarkets and a fruit/vegetable market, as well as some beach restaurants and street food. Medical services are also available.

Pochutla, 20 minutes away by car, is the favored market town for this large area and where you'll find all you need for food shopping, banks, & main hospital.

Estacahuite is pretty peaceful. At times, there may be dogs barking and roosters in the morning, music playing & fireworks especially around the holidays, and possible construction sounds which are all part of the neighborhood. We do have a 12:00 am (midnight) quiet time at our home.
