Another amazing stay!

This is our second time staying at this perfect property, and we are already thinking about booking our third! The house is sparkling clean, just a 10 minute walk to beautiful mayflower beach, and is well equipped with everything you need to feel at home. We enjoyed the basement movie room each night as well as the outdoor fire-pit for s’mores. The proximity to fantastic restaurants and shops is unbeatable. James is a wonderful host!

Incredible property!

My family and our friends (four adults & four small kids under 4yo) had an incredible stay at this house. It was the perfect setup for our families. Location was ideal, within walking distance to Mayflower beach. Large backyard for all kinds of activities, including a fire pit. Couldn’t recommend this property more for your next vacation!

Family Vacation

This vacation was planned over a year ago as there would be 8 of us. We could not have chosen a better place to stay. Mayflower Beach(our favorite) is a short walk which allowed us to come and go as we pleased. The amenities are as stated plus more!. We highly recommend this lovely home for your Cape vacation.

Family Celebration

Accommodations were perfect for four couples. Kitchen was equipped with everything you need. Tastefully decorated and well maintained. Outdoor shower was very popular, especially after the beach, which was nearby. I recommend this property without hesitation.

We enjoyed our stay in Dennis. The house was spic and span, the beds were comfortable,and the kitchen met all of our needs. Our only issue was that the stairs to enter were daunting for older people, as were the stairs to the basement. Our host was very gracious- Nancy

Great stay - close to Mayflower Beach

Our group (2 families with kids aged 1, 3, 3 & 7) had a wonderful stay. There was room for everyone to relax between the upstairs and downstairs TV rooms. The garage was spacious and we were able to unpack and store all of our beach equipment, bikes & bike trailers in the garage during the week. The yard was flat for the kids to run around in and the fire pit was relaxing for the adults at night. It was only a 2 minute drive to Mayflower beach which was ideal with the young children!

Great Stay near Dennis beaches

My family (6 adults and 1 infant) had a wonderful 2-week stay at James' house. Check in was seamless and he was very communicative when necessary. The set up of the house was comfortable and was especially perfect for a 6-month old, as there is a finished basement that provided a separate, private and quiet space. The house was equipped with everything we needed - kitchen supplies, beach chairs/umbrellas, washer/dryer, etc. The house is about a 10 minute walk from the beach (although on a busy road- 3 minute drive for easy drop off with the baby) and just down the street the main road with a market, coffee shop, ice cream store, and some shops. Highly recommend - thanks James!

Family vacation

Rented the O’Connor’s place for a family vacation long weekend in Dennis. I was so happy to find this place that was close to Taylor-Bray Farm as we had a family wedding here while we were down on Cape Cod. This house was immaculate and perfect for sharing with family. The separate sleeping space and living room downstairs were super convenient since we had a toddler who went to bed earlier. The house was equipped with everything we needed and more, including gear for the beach which was so conveniently close by. We really couldn’t have asked for a better place. James was also super friendly and responsive when we needed him. I would highly recommend this property to others and my family would rent it again in a heart beat! We made some great memories! Thank you for an awesome stay.

Excellent all around!

We rented for the last week of June. The house was spotless. Central air/outdoor shower/washer, dryer & firepit were all fabulous. There is bocce, cornhole and beach chairs/umbrellas there to use. The extra fridge/freezer in the garage was a huge bonus for beverages. The owner was easy to communicate with. Mayflower Beach was within walking distance. We would load up the car with all our beach gear, one person would drive everyone to the beach and drop us off with all the gear then drive back to the house to park and walk down. It was awesome because it saves you money to park and you can go at whatever time is convenient for you. We would absolutely rent this property again. Bonus-it’s down the street from the Dennis Public Market, Village coffee (which has the BEST donuts!) and not far from the Ice Cream Smuggler. You cannot go wrong with this property!!!

Great week on Mayflower Beach

We chose this house due to its proximity to Mayflower, Chapin, and Bayview beaches, the best on the Cape, in my opinion (calm, crystal-clear water and fun tidal flats at low tide). It did not disappoint. It's a well-maintained, well-appointed home in the heart of Cape Cod. James, the owner is helpful and reachable, and has thought of everything (there are coolers, tons of beach chairs, umbrellas, two refrigerators, and plenty of fans even though the house has central AC). We appreciated the fire pit and supplied wood and of course the outdoor shower. There are three bedrooms and one full bath and one bedroom and another bathroom with a shower only downstairs. Important to note that while it is indeed within walking distance to Mayflower Beach, much of the 10/15 minute walk is along a 2-lane street with no sidewalks that can get busy with cars. Just something to consider if you have very small children (we found it simple to have someone drive to the drop-off area and then walk back). Overall, a great experience and worth every dime.

Really nice house

We have stayed on the cape for 20 years now. This house was by far the cleanest and most well equipped. The location is perfect as it is about a 12 minute walk to Mayflower. Very nice deck and great basement setup for those who need to watch sports and nap.

Perfect Beach Get Away

This property was beautiful and James was extremely accommodating. The property is about a half mile from Mayflower Beach. There are no sidewalks to the beach so when we went to the beach as a large group we just paid to park. It was honestly really convenient to pay the parking charge and go back and fourth all day. I would suggest looking into getting a parking pass for the week - before the trip. You need to contract the town hall prior to your trip. The area is perfect and Mayflower is my absolute favorite beach. The house itself had everything we could need. The grill with extra gas tanks was amazing. We shopped and cooked most days. The back deck and fire pit were a great feature as well. We can't wait until we can book our next trip to James house.

Thanksgiving on Cape Cod

We spent Thanksgiving in Dennis with extended family at their home and decided last minute to rent a place as opposed to driving back to Boston...needless to say after spending 3 nights in this beautiful home we didn't want to leave! Location was perfect. Just minutes away from Mayflower Beach which was an absolute treat as my family grew up on that beach...the home was exactly as the pictures depicted , bright airy and spotless. Check in was simple and our host was wonderful! I highly recommend this home !!

Anniversary celebration in Dennis Cape Cod Mass.

We all had a wonderful time! The house was very spacious, comfortable.. accommodating. We loved the location. Near the beach, and grocery stores, gas stations. Hyannis very convenient for us to drive to, and visit. Shopping & scenery was wonderful. It was a great weekend. My husband & I first time in Cape Cod. We’ll be back.

Wonderful Week in Dennis

This house was the perfect setting for our first family gathering in two years. The kitchen/dining/family area allowed us to share time and meals together. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The bath and laundry facilities, including the outdoor shower, were well-suited to our needs. The deck afforded us the opportunity to sit and eat together, and the back yard was used for several games of catch, cornhole, and run-around space for an active three-year-old and her visiting cousins. The owners graciously allowed the use of their beach chairs, and the extra refrigerator came in handy. We did not take advantage of the downstairs theater room, preferring to congregate upstairs instead, but the large, comfortable sofa and flatscreen would have gotten use if our stay had been longer. Overall, we had a memorable week in this house, and cannot wait to revisit it in the future! Many thanks, from the Johnsons to the O'Connors, for their hospitality, generousity, and thoughtfulness.
