Thank you Carol! We will look into getting the carpets cleaned immediately, and most likely swap them out for wood floors later this year. Being a pet friendly cabin is great, but pets do take a toll on carpets, that's for sure! Appreciate you staying with us!

Thank you for the review Bonnie! In case you come back soon, the cabin actually underwent a major remodel right after your stay, including all new updates and an added hot tub! We do apologize about the spices. Believe it or not, we had a guest a few years ago get upset with us because there was a spice in another cabin we manage that she was allergic to. Once that happened, we decided to not actively provide spices anymore, but guests are most welcome to use any that might be there. We do clearly state that in our listings so that there are no surprises, we apologize you did not see that part. The coffee maker actually has a reusable coffee filter inside of it. We will definitely try to make a note of that in the future if any other guests don't notice it. We will definitely try and get a new dust pan up there, we are sorry about that. We look forward to hosting you again in the future so you can see all the updates!

Thanks for your review. We sent an email, a text message and a VRBO message with the welcome guide that includes all check in instructions. Instead of making our guests track down a key, like other companies, it's all self check in with a keypad. We host thousands of guests per year and this has always been very efficient for us. All of our guests appreciate the easiness of check in and not having to schedule to meet someone for a key. We are so sorry you missed the email, the text message, and the VRBO message with all the check in details. Our team will get together and see what other possible method of communication we can provide, if there is any. We're also sorry the ceiling fan was dusty. This cabin, unlike most in Yosemite, has a full, brand new central heating and air system, so it does blow in dust more than older cabins without any airflow.
