Village Green Lodge is a beautiful, hand-scraped log lodge with large open spaces and beautiful views set on the 2nd hole of Island Park Golf Course. It is just 23 quick miles from the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park and a few miles from great fishing at Henry's Lake and on Henry's Fork.
You will love this gorgeous home, with 5 bedrooms and 3 baths, a back deck, large lawn area, large driveway with plenty of parking, and large open spaces.
The main floor boasts traditional log beams spanning an open living room with a large sectional, smart TV with Disney+ and Netflix and a lava rock wood-burning fireplace. The living room opens to a large dining area that is open to the kitchen. The dining area has 2 tables that each seat 8, as well as 4 bar stools. There is plenty of room to set up the available banquet table for more table dining. The kitchen is well equipped and has gorgeous views out toward the meadows. There is also a laundry area beyond the kitchen with a washer and dryer. The main floor also has a bedroom with a queen bed and a full bath with a deep soaking Whirlpool jetted bathtub.
Upstairs are 2 bedrooms connected by a jack-n-jill full bath, as well as a loft area with toys and books for the kids. One bedroom comes with a queen bed and a full/twin bunk bed and the other bedroom has 2 queens, 2 fulls and two twins. An additional full mattress pad is also available and a pack n play is available upon request (Please request at least 3 days before check in).
Downstairs is a family room with a Foosball table, a desk, a TV stocked with a wide variety of movies for the DVD player, and two futon couches. There is a 3/4 bath and 2 bedrooms; one is furnished with one queen bed and a crib and the other has one queen bed and a murphy bunkbed (2 twins).
In the attached heated garage is a ping-pong table and bumper pool table and an extra fridge.
The lawn area outside (shared with a neighboring rental) is extensive and provides plenty of room for outside dining either on the lawn or the back deck. A volleyball net is set up in the summer months along with a large gas grill (June through October). Finally, have fun roasting marshmallows and hot dogs over the fire pit surrounded by long benches.
Village Green Lodge has convenient access to many of the ATV and snowmobile trails in the area including Sawtelle Peak and Two Top Mountain. You can ride directly from the cabin onto the trail system. Also, it's located within ½ mile of a grocery store and gas station that is supplied with basic groceries, an ATV/snowmobile rental shop, and a restaurant that is open year round. The lodge features two large parking areas capable of supporting multiple cars or snowmobile/ATV trailers. It's also just 2 miles to Mack's Inn Resort.
Finally, if your party is larger than 27 you can rent the adjacent studio loft apartment on the property that can hold five additional people for up to 32 people (Message me for availability or additional details ASAP if this is something you´re interested in. This space fills up fast. Also, please note that this rental apartments' occupants will be sharing the backyard with the Village Green Lodge occupants).
Finally, we allow up to 2 house trained dogs on the property with prior manager approval and a $25 pet fee per dog. Dogs are not allowed to be left unattended on the property and must be on leash when outside. Sorry No cats allowed.
