This vacation rental complex is also located within close proximity to Venice Public Library, Venice Regional Medical Center, South Jetty Public Beach and Venice Little Theater.
Venice Beachfront Casa de Villa unit offers fully-furnished, central air conditioned, single story, tile and laminate flooring, with two flat-screen TVs, fully equipped updated kitchen with quartz countertops, kitchen island and a fully enclosed/screened and furnished lanai for your quiet and peaceful relaxation. We had a great time. We would love to return to the same villa soon. Everything is within walking distance if you enjoy walking. Most places we visit are just 1 mile in distance. (Downtown, Publix, Sharkys on the pier).

The location was convenient to both beach and downtown shopping. The direct access to the beach was nice. The ocean waves were rolling and relaxing sounding. The pool was easier to get into the water.

Wonderful little community to stay. Just enough for the two of us. Just a short walk to the beach and about a mile walk to historic downtown Venice. Wanted to book for next year but, alas, it was unavailable. Hope to return here again.

Perfect location

The property is exactly as listed . There were just two of us so we had plenty of room . The kitchen is well supplied with needed items for cooking light meals ( breakfast and lunch) . There are many options for restaurants nearby as well as. Grocery store quite close . The pool is wonderful and the beach is just steps away . It is quiet and comfortable ! Lots to do in the area as desired

Property was great. Loved the pool, beach, and relaxed vibe. Great communication. Wish the bed was bigger. All of the mattresses were pretty uncomfortable for us. My husband ended up sleeping on the patio couch.

Air Conditioning Issues

The AC seems to have been regulated remotely from someone else outside the unit. It was extremely warm in there especially at night. It was difficult for us to sleep and because of that I doubt we would stay again unless that issue changes.

All guests have full control of AC thermostat. Guest's claims of remote thermostat restrictions outside of the unit are inaccurate. Cathy did not contact anyone about AC dissatisfaction during multiple night stay. The AC unit has been professionally checked and repaired. The unit is better cooled now. Call emergency number on the door if you feel the AC is not working. If you feel something is wrong, you can always call so we can improve your stay.

Cozy condo 100 yards from the beach

Excellent experience. Was so nice to be able to walk 100 yards or so down a nice clean sidewalk and then over the dune to the beautiful beach. And rinse off when you return by the beach side gazebo and also in the condo courtyard. Unit is cozy. The fold out couch bed was comfortable, thick enough so you got a good night's sleep. Bedroom bed and trundle bed we're also good. Very nice and quiet location. And parking also was convenient. Nicely furnished. You can tell that they upgraded the kitchen and bathroom. Has everything you need for your stay. ***** 5 stars! Finally, was good value compared to a hotel. No way we could have stayed at a beach side hotel at that price. Hope to stay again.

This was our first time in Venice Florida. The location is unbeatable. At the end of the Villas property, you have private access to Golden Beach which doesn't have public access. I don't think I saw over 30 people if you looked up and down the entire beach. You are a five minute drive to downtown Venice Avenue where you can find more restaurants than you can visit and tons of cool little shops. There was no reason to contact our host. The place was clean and had anything and everything we needed to basically live there for a week. It was 100% enjoyable and problem free. I was tempted to leave a bad review so we would have a better chance of booking this place again for the same time next year, lol! We have been to tons of beaches in the USA. This was a one of a kind for us and we will be back.

Condo is very nicely redone.

This is in the Venice Villa’s complex on Golden Beach. The condo is very nicely redone, it is very well stocked including the rarity of sharp knives. The furniture is comfortable, the shower is great. The screened porch needs some work so we used it only to store our bikes & beach wagon. I would give the condo a 5; I’m giving it an overall rating of 4 because of the unexpected size of the complex. From the picture, we made an erroneous assumption that this was 2 brick single story buildings on the beach. The property consists of 4 brick buildings, each with ten apartments that each share a courtyard. So, twenty or more people can be sharing each courtyard. Depending on the location of the building, you can be close to the beach, close to the pool or in between both. In either case, it is not a long walk. Also on the property is a 30+ two story unit of efficiencies. If many rooms are booked, I can see where the pool, beach, courtyards, and laundry room could be crowded. There are 4 washers & dryers by the office; coin-operated, $1.25 which is a bargain. The grilling is way down by the pool. The property is in the Golden Beach district of Venice, bike riding is great. Can easily bike ride to area restaurants and stores. Everyone was friendly, overall age leans to senior citizens which makes for very quiet nights. If you want to rent in Venice Villas, I would highly recommend this condo as many of them have not been remodeled and have quite old furnishings.

We had a wonderful time at this lovely place. Private beach, huge pool, and cute little courtyard for breakfast. The villa was very nice and well kept, and had great pots and pans and utensils. Beds were comfy. I hope to come back soon!!

Expectations

I thought we had booked a 1 BR, but got a very cool studio by the immaculate pool. Staff was excellent and we had everything we needed EXCEPT beach towels C'mon....you're a facility that entices people that go to the BEACH !! other than that, all was OK. they even loaned us beach chairs ! The guy at the desk was awesome !

Unfortunately, it does appear our guest has visited our neighbors and stayed at a different location. Our unit was never opened. None of our communication were answered, so we assumed the guest canceled the trip. We don't have any studios, we operate remotely with a passcode and without an onsite staff or a "guy". Beach towels, beach chairs and other beach supplies are inside the unit. This unfortunate situation doesn't warrant this unjust review.
