Great views, close to downtown and all the restaurants, shops and trails. Kids enjoyed ping pong while the grownups sat by the fire or enjoyed the hot tub. Hosts were great and very responsive.Great time, would recommend!

Wonderful place to stay! Emily and Ryan were very easy to work with and very thoughtful of the needs of their guests - even their 4 legged guest! Toddler supplies on hand - pack and play, booster seat, etc. Also, dog bowls, mat, and towel. This location is very close to the Moses Cone Preserve which is beautiful!! We hiked over 40 miles there. The house is also very close to downtown, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Tweetsie Railroad. Great place!!

Fantastic spot for families with kids and pets!

Spent a great weekend with our kids and dog. Location was ideal—close to downtown with being in town. Views were great as well. Great communication from hosts. Would definitely stay again!

Solo mountain week with my puppy to disconnect from the stress of work (& life sometimes). Absolutely wonderful house in a quiet neighborhood. Ate breakfast & dinner on the front porch every day because it felt so good outside- cool for a nice change given it was July! Plenty of room, comfortable beds, everything you need to cook, and right off the blue ridge parkway. Very easy to get to great hiking trails, which we did every day, and quick drive to blowing rock and Boone. Loved watching storms go by over grandfather mountain and the sunsets. Amazing view! Would definitely recommend this house and would come back!

Fantastic views, amenities and location.

Our family really enjoyed this property. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood that is a short drive to town and everything else. The owners provided everything we needed and it was great relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings. The view from the balcony was great and the Blue Ridge Parkway is about two minutes up the road.

Very Pleasant Base Near Blowing Rock

This house is in a pleasant, quiet neighborhood within a couple of miles of downtown Blowing Rock and two wonderful parks for nearly endless hiking choices - Moses Cone and Julian Price. The views were good, and the kitchen was well stocked. We especially liked sitting in the comfortable chairs by the gas fireplace that we used each morning and evening. The host was accommodating and helpful.

Great View and Peaceful

We had a wonderful stay in this home that was clean and very comfortable. Everything we needed was available and easy to access. The view from the fireplace room and upstairs is outstanding. Its's proximity to main street in Blowing Rock is so close (5-8 minutes). There are 3 floors and steep stairs for those who might be impacted by those. We had a really great stay!

Anniversary weekend.

The house is very easy to get to. No steep driveway like most of the houses I have rented in Blowing Rock. The view was wonderful. It's very close to town with all the great shops and less than 2 miles from Bass Lake where they have nice walking trails. We were celebrating our 38th wedding anniversary with friends and had a great weekend.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It had everything we needed and extras that made the stay even more enjoyable. There was some debris on the property, but it wasn't a problem for us, and we completely understood since they had just experienced Hurricane Helene. We were just thrilled to be able to stay for our nephew's wedding so soon after that! The beds were very comfy and the view is wonderful from both floors. The hot tub and game room were both a hit with our young adults and we would highly recommend this property for anyone visiting the beautiful town of Blowing Rock or surrounding areas!

Carefree Stay

We loved the coziness of this cute mountain getaway. The amenities provided made this stay so much easier than most. It kept our packing light and reduced the stress of forgetting something! We stayed with our 5 month old and 4 year old. While the stairs were a little daunting and quite steep, the availability of gates at every stairway easily made up for it. Checkout was also the easiest we've ever had for a VRBO. We had a wonderful stay!

Great location

We took the family and the dogs to spend a long weekend here and had a really nice time. The house had everything we needed for adults and children and pets. It was so nice to not have to pack things like baby gates and a pack and play. The location was superb. A couple miles from downtown Blowing Rock and just a mile from Moses Cone. Close enough to everything while still feeling like a mountain getaway. The hosts were fantastic, and very responsive when we had questions or needed help. We only wish we had booked a couple more nights! Highly recommend.

Great location/fun time

The location was fantastic and we had a super time. Great space for people to do their own thing with the deck and the hot tub. We brought our own firewood and had a couple of nice fires in the metal fire pit. If you have as my sort of knee or hip issues you should know that there are lots of stairs to navigate throughout the house. Our group was fine, but that is something to be aware of. The location was fantastic, minutes from Bass Lake and downtown Blowing Rock. The host was very responsive!

Great & Accessible Stay mountain feel, close to town

We had a wonderful stay at this house with incredible mountain views while still being close to town and easily accessible for all vehicles. It was the perfect size for our group of four adults and two kids.The layout worked beautifully for us—our kids loved having their own space to play downstairs, which gave the adults some much-needed quiet time. The living area, with its stunning views and no TV, was an unexpected but delightful break that encouraged us to relax and enjoy the scenery. That said, the TVs in the bedrooms were a nice option for winding down at night.The kitchen was impressively well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals, and the hot tub was a huge hit for everyone. We also appreciated that the house was impeccably clean and that we could bring our two dogs, which was a big bonus. Some homes that allow dogs are a little run down or have that smell but again this house was impeccably clean. The location couldn’t have been better—just minutes from downtown Blowing Rock. Plus, the hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful with any questions we had.This home was everything we hoped for and more. We would 100% stay here again. Book with confidence—you won’t regret it!

We just had a short stay. We wanted a place near Tweetie Christmas Train. Only 10 minutes away, so location was perfect. The house was very clean and well decorated. You felt very welcomed in the space. The best part of this property was the very prompt and most helpful communication.

Great Stay and Beautiful Scenery for Families

This home was perfect for our Thanksgiving vacation. It was equipped with all that you would need in the kitchen, has a wonderful hot tub, dog friendly, and lots of accessories if you are traveling with children. The view was amazing and very convenient, with downtown Blowing Rock just a couple of miles away. Loved every minute of our stay.

The home is tucked in a quiet neighborhood, giving it a very nice balance of quiet and relaxing while having easy access to town. We love the cozy feel of the home and the fact that the 3 levels allow for separation when you need it.
