Beautiful spot, beautiful condo

We spent a week here over spring break with our four kids. The condominium is roomy, well-equipped, and super clean. We spent every morning and evening sitting on the lanai enjoying the beautiful views. The pool and beach are super close. And there are two great shopping malls and a grocery store within walking distance. We highly recommend this beautiful property and plan to return ourselves someday soon.

If you are in Kona, just stay here

My wife's first questions to me: "can we stay a month? or could we buy one like this?" The property really is everything it is advertised to be, and we did not initially realize how close it was to the Kolea Beach Club (it's across the street) and that was also the walking path to the beach. Many properties say "minutes to the beach" and are being very optimistic, but Kolea 10B is not kidding. A great complex and a very well equipped unit.

Beautiful, Safe and lovely condo

There were 4 adults - Myself, husband, my Mom with late state Alzheimer's and my oldest son/care giver helper. The semi-private elevator, and large enclosed lanai made this condo totally safe for my Mom. The views were amazing, the "traffic" was light, but fun for her to watch people headed to the pool - which was warm and the view there was stunning. The added gate security was an extra layer of keeping Mom safe. The critic would be the kitchen needed organized - all of the kitchen items were stuffed in random places and the desk as well. The bedroom carpets needed cleaned. The place was clean - the carpets were white and showed traffic. Overall - I would most definitely if I had the opportunity would stay again.

The best place for a family vacation in Big Island

After the first step, we all fell in love with the place. The view is great, the rooms are clean & huge, and there are more stuffs than we need. We should have not brought any things as there is everything we need during the stay. Our favirate was probably the BBQ grill on the terrace. Even our mothers in their 70s enjoyed the dinner outside. Wendy was as helpful as many people wrote on their reviews. She even prepared a coffee beans grinder for us. If you are visiting the Big Island for the first time, this location is probably the best as it's close to everything. There are not too many condos from which you can really walk to the beach and shopping centers. We will surely stay here again when we visit Big Island again.

Amazing stay!

This property is everything advertised and more. We have only previously stayed in resorts on other islands in Hawaii. This was a bit of a last minute booking for us when a condo we had booked associated with the Four Seasons and Elite Pacific Vacations fell through/was cancelled due to maintenance issues and we were so fortunate to find Kolea 10B available. We snatched it based on photos and reviews and felt like it was a blessing in disguise. It's so well stocked from cookware to beach gear and towels, even sunscreen. Everything is so close - beach, pool, shops. And the host, Wendee, is incredibly responsive. We've rented a fair number of VRBO properties and I don't think I've ever had someone as responsive as her. It's hard to imagine anyone would be disappointed staying here, and it will definitely be top of our list if we go with a condo again when we return to Hawaii.

Fantastic property!

Location, views, amenities - all as good as it gets! You get the view of the bay even from the (huge walk in) master bath shower! :) And welcome touch with a fruit basked was really nice! Would definitely stay there again for as long as it fits the budget. :) The only slight problem was ants in the kitchen. As soon as they sense any food (water?) they show up despite of the traps which are set up there. So keep your food neatly organized. And you'd want to eat as much as you can on the lanai since with that view and space you really would not want to leave the villa. We used the grill every night except for one since the Lava-Lava restaurant cannot be missed!
