The room was very clean and comfortable! It had everything we needed for our stay. John our host was very accommodating to any questions and or help we needed, and the staff were very nice! Convenient to a small store for needs and beach access! We will definitely return!

Check-in was a bit confusing as numerous properties have the same address and we did not receive check-in instructions prior to arriving. However, the property manager found us and then, provided a tour of the area. Quaint room, very simple and basic. It’s true, no hot water to shower. The location…PERFECT! Right across ocean access. Gorgeous views and many restaurants nearby and a hidden gem, La Tacoma, RIGHT behind the property.

This property sits directly in front of one of the best snorkeling spots on the whole island (Mangel Halto Beach). Accommodations were clean and the set up was very secure. The rate is incredibly low, which equates to not very much in the name of amenities, there is no hot water, & communication is limited but OK. Best value on the island. Who needs hot water when you’re in paradise?

Overall nice location, great snorkeling across the street from the rental. Clean room on check in but no cleaning service or any additional services provided for rest of the days. The lock to our unit was damaged, it took us 5-7 mins each time we wanted to lock and unlock the door, which was very frustrating, no one came down to take a look or get it fixed. Property manager was not very responsive.

The room was perfect except for 4 tv channels. Would’ve bee nice to relax before bed and watch something on tv but we made due with Netflix and the tablet. Definitely no hot water but we made it fine.

Week in Aruba

We prefer to stay at VRBO properties as opposed to hotels but we chose this particular place for the location. This is a chill neighborhood with great swimming and snorkeling near and past the breaker. We always rent a vehicle and I would suggest one whether you are staying here or not. There are a number of great restaurants a short drive away. The property itself was clean and perfect for us. John, Marie and staff were all extremely nice, helpful and attentive. If you are considering staying in this area of the island I wouldn't hesitate booking. Simply walk across the road (not busy) to the shore with shade and chairs. There are a couple local bars and a small grocery store within walking distance. As a bonus there is a great little restaurant behind the property called La Tavola, go there for at least one breakfast and dinner. The owners Ana and Juan Carlos do a great job! If we return we will stay here again. Zero regrets and loved the location, just book it and have fun!
