2 story 1 bedroom suite that can comfortably sleep 4 people. Great for surfing, kayaking or fishing trips. There is a covered rail to hang your wetsuits on. Brand new kitchen, dining area and bathroom. Large upstairs room with either 3 single beds or 1 King and one single.
A 3 minute walk away is the start of the Florencia Beach trail. Florencia Beach is a beautiful spot to find some alone time as not many people know about this spot and there is very limited parking at the entrance of the trail.

Not the best experience

One night of our 3-night stay was cancelled due to the host double booking, so we had to find another place for the 3rd night, on a long weekend. The owner put us somewhere else on the property for the first 2 nights (there are a few cabins there). The cabin was really nice but the floor was *filthy* (we kept our shoes on). There was also something yellow and crusty on my sheets that looked like snot, which I didn't tell anyone in my group about because my kids were already grossed out by being there. All over the inside of the front door were dirty (dark brown) hand prints. Maybe because it was made available last minute? I was constantly trying to give the host the benefit of the doubt. I was travelling with three others, two of whom have some minor health issues. Switching places mid-trip was fairly inconvenient due to this. Plus I had to pay more for the 3rd night elsewhere. The host not once apologized for double booking us. Several times he made me feel like I should be grateful that I got a deal on a "nicer" place. He tried to refund for one night, but it wasn't quite right and he didn't seem to know how vrbo works so I had to call vrbo a few times to figure it out, rather than him doing it on his end (which is what's supposed to happen). I get the feeling that because he has several cabins, and he seems very busy, that he doesn't think bumping people around is big deal, but this was supposed to be a relaxing holiday, booked well in advance, and it was not relaxing.

Ucuelet Hideaway

It is a great location to be able to explore both Ucluelet and Tofino, with easy off highway access. Everything is easily drivable, and the place was warm and inviting! Great place for a family to stay, great access to kitchen essentials including oil, salt, pepper, spices, and even coffee... etc. Thanks for the stay!

Easy and Cozy

Great simple place that has everything you need. Dormitory type sleeping in the upstairs and a comfy couch, living dining area, and full kitchen on the main floor. Our host checked in with us and made sure we had everything we needed. Location is perfect to access Ucluelet and Tofino.

Long weekend getaway

Everything was awesome! Apartment was clean and tidy. The kitchen was fully equipped which was great as it came in handy for our cooking. The location is quiet and right near walking trails. Sam was a very gracious host and I look forward to staying with him again the next time I come visit!

Great stay at Ucluelet

Very nice place to stay. Short walk to Florencia beach, short drive to Ucluelet (that we enjoyed more than Tofino). Nice owner and good view on the deck.

Great little spot for the weekend exploring the Tofino area! We especially loved the short walk to Florencia bay! Super beautiful beach!
