Anna Maria Island is a stunning destination in Florida, known for its serene atmosphere and easy accessibility. The island boasts breathtaking sunsets, gentle breezes from the Gulf of Mexico, and miles of pristine white sand beaches. This private and tranquil apartment, situated on the second floor of a two-unit building, features two bedrooms with king-size beds, a full bath with tub and shower, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private balcony overlooking a picturesque canal. Recently renovated it offers bright, airy spaces with new flooring, fresh paint, and all-new furniture. Guests can unwind in the yard or on the balcony and enjoy evening strolls to the beach for sunset views. The adorable cottage-style duplex is within walking distance of the Gulf's beautiful beaches, village shops, restaurants, cafes, and a library. For added convenience, a free island trolley is available, and both Sarasota International Airport and Tampa International Airport are just 40 and 70 minutes away, respectively. Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. We loved the apt and the area....great for walking our dog. Clean and spacious,good beds, and just a short walk to the beach. It was nice and private too. We are hoping to get to go back!

We were a family of four. Parents a granddaughter and a daughter. We really enjoyed the house. It was very clean, had everything that we needed. Clise to the beach. Perfect, the only drawback was no pool.

Highly Recommended!

My wife and I just completed a one month stay at this property and we absolutely loved it (except for a week or so of not so nice weather!). Accommodations were quiet, clean and spacious. Location was close to lots of nice restaurants and shops. Our host, Ramona, was also very quick to respond to any questions we had. My wife and I have stayed on the island 5-6 times over the years. This was the first time we stayed at this property. We will definitely be back!

A great place on a great beach

You won’t be disappointed staying here! Two blocks from the beach. All beach equipment you need. Fully stocked kitchen for the cooking you may want to do. Communication was excellent. Parking spot was in the shade which is very nice in the Florida sun! One mile to the left or right you can find lots of cute shops and restaurants. It was a lovely leisurely walk to any of them.

Perfect Beach Place!

This amazing property promised and delivered. Clean and neat. Quiet and peaceful. There is an beautiful calm view of the canal with just enough activity, not busy enough to interrupt a relaxing day on AMI but enjoyable to watch boats come and go. The shore is a short walk away allowing for walks on the beach and swimming in the clear water of Anna Maria Island. And the sunsets are the best ever! Always a great vacation on Anna Maria Island.

Great Location & Lots of Space

My husband, daughter, and I enjoyed our recent stay at this property. The location was fantastic! It was just a short two-block walk to a beautiful beach. We brought our bikes with us and Pine Avenue and the Donut Experiment were just a short ride away. My husband also enjoyed dropping his SUP or kayak in the canal across the street from the property at high tide for a fun paddle around the canals and out to the bay. The apartment had everything we could need and was very spacious. We enjoyed the view of the canal across the street. Ramona was also very responsive and helpful. We would definitely book this property again.

Spring break

Property was nice and clean. About a 5 minute walk to beach. The beach chairs were lounge chairs and a bit heavy to carry the 2 1/2 blocks to the beach. The chairs were comfy just not handy to carry. With only one bathroom mirrors in both bedrooms would be helpful. Overall a nice place to stay for 2-4 people.

Great location, easy walk to beach and trolley stops. Beautiful quiet neighborhood! Had everything my family needed for a comfortable stay. Internet reception not great in the bedrooms, but worked well in the living and dining areas. Great stocked kitchen (coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave, clean stove and oven, pots/pans, dishes, utensils, etc.) easy to make meals for the family! Convenient washer and dryer and outdoor shower made our stay easy! Also, grateful for the good quality beach chairs and umbrellas! We loved the privacy, the screen porch and comfortable beds.

Comfortable stay, beautiful island

We stayed on the island for 5 weeks as we worked remotely and shortened up our northern winter. The location: We loved Anna Maria Island and this location on the northern end in Holmes Beach was quiet and convenient. It’s about 5 minutes to walk to a quiet part of the beach, but crossing Palm Drive can be busy during the day time. The back Marina Drive is slower and we often would walk our dog around the docks and channels. From the property, we could easily walk south to the dog park or the Ugly Grouper, or to the north about 1 mile to Pine Street with its restaurants and shops. The apartment: We had an overall comfortable, enjoyable stay. We made most of our meals here (plenty of kitchen dishes, pots/pans) and worked during the day. The apartment entry is via steps to a covered porch and sliding door. This porch area makes a nice spot for lunch, meetings or warm morning sun. The apartment was recently refinished to be a short-term rental. It’s clean and simple; old cabinets repainted white, classic original tile, new flooring and furniture. Given we were working remotely, the main trouble we had was internet connectivity. It would go out a few times a week, which seems to be a factor of “island internet” and that the modem is in the home downstairs. The property manager Ramona always had it reset quickly, but noting for future guests. Ramona made sure guests were taken care of and was always quick to respond. Only other flag for a long-term stay is the single unit washer/dryer combo. It works, but a single load can take 4+ hours and shakes like crazy on the dryer cycle - so we tried not to run it in evenings.
