This cottage has everything you need. Come enjoy festivals, fishing the Harris Chain of Lakes, walk to downtown for dinner or shopping, so many choices for antiquing, Art Festivals in the fall and spring, Farmers market on the weekends, theater, bike trails, boat rentals and nature hiking. House was very clean and well appointed but the master bedroom was a bit small. Laundry was in the garage and not accessible from the house. Walking distance to downtown was very nice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! Very good value.

Thank You for choosing to stay with us and sharing your feedback. As you could imagine when the cottage was built 100 years ago, there was neither running water or electricity. So to modernize the home, adding a bathroom to the master bedroom (an already tiny room) took more square footage from the room space. In addition, washer and dryer were not part of the original design. We decided to add these amenities for our guests and the garage was the only option.

Fun place to stay!

We absolutely loved this cottage. It was very clean and homey. The neighborhood was quiet and very friendly. Mount Dora has the cutest downtown with wonderful shops and restaurants.

Great getaway

Cozy and clean

Stayed in the home from November 25th - December 1st. It was clean, cozy and well appointed. We enjoyed our week-long stay and enjoyed many walks into Mt. Dora for morning coffee!

Nice place for a family get away

Lovely Home Convenient to Downtown Mount Dora

Great Mt Dora location

Owner was very quick to respond, location is within walking distance of cute restaurants, quiet neighborhood, linens were nice, place was clean. If I had to say one thing that would’ve been a more convenient stay would be to have a coded door lock instead of having to keep up with keys. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Amazing little cottage.

We stayed in this place for a Highschool Bass tournament at it was perfect. The parking made it super simple for us to have our boat there. The amenities in the house were amazing as well. The beds were perfect after long days on the water. I will definitely be reaching out to stay again.

The house is very well equipped, maintained and located. The parking in town was nonexistent but we could walk anywhere from the house. Host Kimberly was lovely.

Charming Cottage

This is a charming old cottage that has been renovated very well. It's on a quite street, and a 10-15 walk (depending on how fast you walk) from down town Mt. Dora.
