It’s all about location!!! Just a 3 minute car ride to Hunter Mountain ski lodge where you can enjoy skiing and snowboarding in the winter, zip lining in the spring and summer, hiking and all of their yearly festivities!

Cozy up next to the fireplace or sit outside on the balcony enjoying the views of Hunter mountain while you drink your morning coffee or while you read a book! There’s an indoor ski rack for storage of your ski equipment during the winter months.

The summer brings in cool mountain breezes for a nights sleep like no other. There are access to hiking trails from the property and there is an in-ground pool just steps away from your front door.

Large family? Birthday weekend? Romantic getaway? No Problem! We can accommodate up to 10 people comfortably. So whether you ski, skate, hike, swim, or just want to relax, this is the place for you!

Traveling with a baby, toddler, or child? No problem! We have gates at the top and bottom of the stairs so you can relax and enjoy your stay stress free!

Don’t worry about packing all of those bulky items…. High chair, bassinet, sit me up chair, pack and play or play mat…We have you covered! We also have baby essentials available for use in the event you forgot to pack them! There are games for the kids as well!

We just ask whatever is used is left out so items can be cleaned and sanitized!

Enjoy having your ski and snowboarding boots along with gear all warm and toasty by storing them on the heating rack at the bottom of the stairs!

All rooms have smart TVs. There is also a wireless speaker available so you can listen to music!

Great location

This home is great for a weekend trip with friends or family. Very close to local attractions and great views of Hunter Mountain. Louis provided us with everything we needed and was always available. Great stay!

Could have been much better

We planned this vacation months ahead, and the whole family was so excited to finally get away from everything. We bought ski passes ahead and just waited for this day to come. The place we rented was a disappointment ... 1. The place was dirty starting at the kitchen with dirty drawers all the way to the kids bedroom where we found empty drink bottles. 2. There are plenty of beds but the mattresses were just awful - kids complained about that t and I didn't believe them at first. Until I tried it myself and literally felt the springs getting into my back. 3. Kitchen appliences are in a really bad shape - range cannot be used, fridge had a dent on it (not a big deal), there was not kettle!!!! How can it be - no kettle, no way to make a cup of tea???? The host just told us to boil the water on the pot. 4. The place is not painted, you can see stains all around in the walls... 5. The place itself is pretty close to Hunter mountain but the access to it goes through dirt ... It would be nice to have some paved access Bottom line - felt like the host knows there is a shortage of places near the ski resort hence the place won't stay empty and neglects basic stuff. Again, disappointment ...

Where should I start with your lies. You asked for a early check in bc you have a 1 month old which couldn't be granted you still showed up over 4 hours early only to rush my cleaning girl out of the house. Then only to complain that it wasn't cleaned. You asked for a tea kettle I stated I was sorry we don't have one and Suggested to use a pot to heat the water. I was up there the day after you left and used the range all week with out a problem. You stole the air mattress we had in the house have you on camera walking out with it. The parking lot is not paved when the snow melts it's muddy. You lied from the minute you planed this trip from the number of people you said were staying with you to the fact that you lied about bringing a 1 month old. My wife also told you that we had baby gear there and you acknowledged it still with your lies. Who lies about having a 1 month old to get a early check in just sad

The beds upstairs didn’t have real mattresses but four inch foam. The oven was very small and not clean. The downstairs bed was very comfortable. It was very close to the mountain which was good.

Great house for a family!

Communicating with the owner was so pleasant: his response time to every question I had was almost immediate and he answered all of my questions. The house was clean and neat, with plenty of beds for my family of 6 (although my young kids chose to sleep on the comfortable couches one night!) The staircase is open on the side, which made me nervous with my very active and mischievous 2 year old, but it worked out fine with no falls or close calls. Overall it was a great experience.

The place is less than perfect, but the price is right

There were 10 people in our group (6 adults and 4 children), and the place held us all comfortably. This is a well-equipped place for people who like to cook. It has lots of pots and pans, almost all of which are in very good condition. It even has measuring cups and baking pans. It does not have an outdoor grill, however. The owner is very responsive to phone calls, and was helpful. On the negative side, the place was somewhat shabby and in need of repairs. One of the screen doors was broken, and unusable. It sat leaning against the wall. In the downstairs bedroom, some of the vertical blinds were missing, which meant that we got a lot of sun. There were no working lights in that bedroom, so we had to take one of the floor lamps from another room. In the master bedroom, the mattress was uncomfortable. The toaster was broken. Although the table was large, there were only 8 chairs in the whole place. Two people in our group had to eating sitting on the couch. And the host provided only 9 towels for the 10 people. But the price was excellent, and the swimming pool was nice.

Sorry David that you felt the place was less the perfect. The lite in the bedroom need a light bulb I’m sorry that it wasn’t replaced before you got there it’s is done now. The blinds I keep on replacing slats but renters open the door with out opening the blinds i will get on replacing more. The towels did you happen to look in the hall closet we have over 30 towels available if there was only 9 out. We don’t have an outdoor grill unfortunately some guest in the pass abuse it and it was damaged. As the screen door this is the first I’m hearing and I will get it replaced. The toster will be replaced you are the first to bring that to my attention I’ve had guest after you too. We have only 8 chairs at the table Bc it was overwhelming with 2 more there is a chair to the side and one in the bedroom that could be used if this was a issue. The bed being uncomfortable is I have a bad back so I like a stiffer mattress I had my wife order a 4” memory foam pads for the bed now thank you for your fair and honest review

A Good Place to Hang Out

Great location; comfortable beds (we had 7 unrelated adults in our party and we appreciated having 7 individual beds - not often easy to find); plenty of linens and extra blankets and the ski racks were helpful for our hiking gear. The property was just purchased in 2020 and the owner has plans for some renovations, but as we all know, time and money are constraints many of us have to deal with. Stay tuned! 😊 Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.
