Quail Run 3315 # 6, by Mountain Vacation Lodging, is a freshly renovated condo with a great location and the perfect set of amenities for living the Steamboat lifestyle. Features include a year round free bus service, a massive community hot tub, and close proximity to parks, trails, the river, and the ski area base. The condo is ideal for longer stays, with its private, attached, heated garage, a high efficiency washer and dryer, deck with gas BBQ grill, and a workstation desk with monitor in the second bedroom.
The Property:
The renovation was extensive, and was completed in the spring of 2026. Some additional cosmetic changes are on the way, and are not yet pictured. This includes a new sleeper sofa for the living room, new bedding and linens for both bedrooms and the sleeper sofa, a new / different dining room set that increases dining capacity, a new gas grill for the deck, patio furniture for the deck, a new, better dresser for the primary bedroom suite, new, better nightstands in the second bedroom, an accordion door to make the laundry machines easier to access, and a bench for the garage. We hope to have new photos of the whole place by late April or early May.
A lot of work has already been completed, to make this unit such a nice place. Guests will enjoy new flooring and furniture throughout. The kitchen got new hardware, faucets, lighting, stone counters and tile backsplash. The renovation also brought a new microwave, coffee maker, instant pot, and other small appliances, as well as new dishes, stainless steel pots and pans, knives, and more. The living room upgrades included a new sectional sofa, barnwood accents around the fireplace, and a large smart HDTV mounted above, creating a cozy, relaxing and entertaining space. Off the living and dining area is the first of two decks. Check back for new photos of this deck in late April or May 2026 - outdoor seating and a new, larger gas grill have been ordered.
The first bedroom suite also got a beautiful barnwood accent wall. This larger bedroom features all new furniture, including the mattress as well as linens. Sliding glass doors allow plenty of natural light as well as access to the second deck, which is private to this room. A stylish ceiling fan was added and helps bring in fresh air. Check back for new photos of this first bedroom in late April or May 2026, as the bed is being upgraded with new linens and bedding. The first bathroom is within this bedroom, and was fully renovated. The old tub/shower combo was replaced with a large walk in shower. The new vanity is quite large and has a beautiful stone countertop. This first bedroom suite faces the interior of the development, away from parking areas, so it is a quiet and peaceful retreat!
Bedroom # 2 is on the other side of the living & dining area, creating a nice separation of space. This bedroom is a bit smaller, but still has plenty of space for its Queen size bed as well as a workstation. Another stylish ceiling fan was added, and so was a desk. A computer monitor has been ordered for the desk, so that you can plug your laptop in and work more efficiently. Linens and bedding for this bedroom are also being upgraded. So, check back for new photos of this room in late April or May 2026.
The second bathroom is adjacent to the second bedroom, making it ideal for guests, if you're entertaining. Here, the bathtub/shower combo was retained, but the rest of the bathroom was renovated to add the new flooring, fixtures, lighting, and stone countertop. The hallway past the second bathroom provides access to the laundry area and the garage. The laundry machines are brand new with the renovation, and are large, front loading, high efficiency machines, on pedestals. The garage is heated and includes a bench to make removing your shoes or ski boots a bit easier.
The Location:
– Ski Area Base, Gondolas, Ski School: Less than 1 mile, pretty walkable, and very bikeable! Just take the sidewalk to Walton Creek Rd and then follow the paved Burgess Creek Trail right to the Wild Plum Market and the Gondolas are just across the street.
– Yampa River: Even closer than the ski area base! Walk or bike across the street, along Skyview Lane, and within a few hundred meters you'll be at Walton Creek and the Yampa River Core Trail. This paved path follows Walton Creek, then the Yampa River, to and through downtown Steamboat, which is about 3 miles away. Enjoy fishing, paddleboarding, and tubing, have a picnic, or stop by the botanic gardens and parks along the trail.
– Whistler Park: Right down the street! Playground, grills, picnic tables, fields, trails along Walton Creek. Just a short, flat, pleasant walk of about ½ mile.
– Transportation: Steamboat's free bus system picks up and drops off literally right next to Quail Run. In winter there are actually two different bus routes servicing this location (the Mustang Run stop on google maps).
– Views: In winter, from the deck off the living and dining room, you can see the ski slopes, including the New Years Eve fireworks and base area slopes that light up for night skiing on weekends. Lots of mature trees around the building also provide great color in summer and fall. The condo faces East for good morning sun and North for beautiful skies at sunset.
Arrival, Accessibility, Layout and Parking:
Once you book, we're here to support you before, during, and after your stay. We will provide you with arrival instructions, local information, and answer any questions you might have. Accessing this property requires going up one flight of stairs, either within the condo, from the garage up to the condo itself, or up the outside stairs to the condo's front door. Once up that one flight of stairs, everything in the condo is on that single, main level. For parking, you'll have 2 reserved spaces and access to shared parking too. The private, heated garage is large enough for cars and most SUVs. (Large SUVs such as a Chevy Suburban or larger pick up trucks might not fit) Fortunately, if you will have a very large vehicle, if you have a second vehicle, or just want to use the garage for skis, bikes, or other items, you can also park immediately in front of your garage. The development also has two areas of shared parking for visitors and residents, so parking is almost never an issue. Please note that RVs and campers are prohibited. Trailers are typically not allowed unless they are the size of one vehicle and are parked immediately in front of the garage, moved periodically, etc. If you will have a trailer, please contact us before booking, to see if specific approval can be granted.

Mid-stay cleaning(s) / inspection(s) may be required. The standard cleaning fee quoted as part of any booking is for the final cleaning, which is to be performed after the rental period has ended. For guests who are booking a lengthy stay of more than one month, a mid stay-cleaning fee equal to the final cleaning fee may apply for the second month, third month, and so on. ** Air Conditioning - Most mountain resort properties were not built with air conditioning. During most hours of the day and weeks of the year, AC is not needed. Summer nights are cool and fans are provided at most properties. Check the average high and low temperatures and weather forecast for your dates of travel, and look at the list of amenities to see if AC or fans are part of the rental property and look for ceiling fans in photos.
** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Please note, the sleeper sofa is not provided to increase overnight occupancy beyond 4 people for a long term rental. It is provided to make it possible for those who rent for a long term period, to have friends or family members visit for a short period within the longer rental period. This property uses a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for groups larger than 4, and as a result, we are able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. This High Occupancy Fee is negotiable, if and only if the group size is discussed and the fee is negotiated prior to booking. Otherwise, any increase to the group size on the rental agreement, declared or undeclared, will incur the full fee for all nights of the rental term. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in an additional payment and or security deposit becoming required and due.
** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Cameras are positioned to cover all entrances and exits of the home. Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure and safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest and upfront about their planned use of the property. If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value and quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, and you should not book the property. For normal, respectful groups, we are sorry that these statements and measures are necessary. Security cameras and noise monitoring devices are an example and demonstration that the property's owners are taking steps to ensure the home remains available for rental, and in good condition, for your benefit.
