Beautifully Appointed Akaroa Accommodation for Weekend Getaways from Christchurch

This beautifully appointed Akaroa accommodation is located just above Children's Bay in Akaroa Harbour, and is ideal for up to four guests to enjoy relaxing weekend getaways from Christchurch. Rustically restored from beams and bricks from the Christchurch earthquake, this South Island glamping site offers a different style of farm stay in New Zealand. The bedroom features a plush king-size bed, and there are two twins available. All are appointed with soft bedding and linens.



After a busy day exploring the local attractions, guests will love hanging out together inside the cabin rental, which boasts a rustic vibe with exposed brick floors. There are comfy leather armchairs to kick back in front of the TV and enjoy the warmth from the fireplace. Simple meals can be prepared in the kitchenette, which includes a microwave, a fridge, and a coffeemaker, and enjoyed at the round wooden dining table. Other thoughtful touches include air conditioning, heating, and a washer/dryer.



Outside, there's plenty of seating for guests to sit and enjoy the fresh air with a hot drink while enjoying the amazing views out to the harbour and up into Children's Bay Park. There's a BBQ grill to fire up, making for a great change from the kitchenette, and the large fire pit is perfect for gathering around with a couple of drinks in the evening.
