Okains Bay Beach is a unspoilt pristine stretch of beach that offers safe swimming without the crowds. Located a short, three minute drive from the house, you can enjoy a day at the beach without worrying about forgetting something as it is a quick drive back.
For most of the year, the Okains bay dairy is open and just a stroll down the road to get that well deserved treat! For an immersive cultural experience, the Okains Bay Museum is fascinating and only 5 minutes walk away.
If you yearn for an urban experience and well stocked supermarket, Akaroa is a relaxed 20 minute drive away.
