Guest Access:

Guests have exclusive access to the entire property. Both levels are self-contained with kitchens, living rooms, and bathrooms. Outdoor decks, backyard, and alfresco dining areas are fully available. Lockable shed provides secure storage for bikes or sports gear

Self check-in instructions will be sent two days prior to arrival through the property web app as well as a concierge service called Planit. They can plan any activities for your trip free of charge.

Our property web app provides:

• All property information, wifi and check in etc

• Local recommendations and activities

• Options for early check ins, late check out and mid stay cleans

Guests are required to complete the Verify Me section before arrival, which takes approximately 2 minutes and includes choosing either a bond hold or a small damage waiver fee of $32.10.

Getting Around:

Taxis and Ride‑shares

You can easily get around the Ohope and Whakatane area with local taxi services such as Urban Link Taxis, which operate seven days a week and offer airport pick‑ups, drop‑offs, and wheelchair accessible vehicles.

Uber is also available in Whakatane, so you can request a ride on demand or reserve one in advance through the Uber app, though pickup times may be longer than in larger cities.



Buses

Public buses connect Whakatane to Ohope and surrounding areas via the regional Baybus network. The Line 122 route between Whakatāne and Ōhope runs regularly and is very affordable, taking about 10–15 minutes.

InterCity coach services also travel through Whakatane if you want to explore further afield.



Bike and E‑bike Hire

For a fun and active way to explore, e‑bikes and paddle boards can be hired locally in Ōhope through Takutai Adventures, located on Harbour Road. It’s a great way to see the coast at your own pace.



Other Options

If you plan to explore more widely, rental cars and van hire options are available in Whakatāne, which can be useful for day trips or larger groups
