This two bedroom house is perfect for your holiday. The main bedroom has a double bed and there is a small bedroom with a single bed. The main room has a sofa bed, dining table and chairs, small cooking area, fridge, TV and wireless internet. A separate bathroom completes the accommodation. The house is situated close to the owner's property with an outdoor pool between. Visitors are welcome to use the outdoor eating area and BBQ. Ideal for a couple or small family.
Dogs allowed with prior arrangement.

Perfect bach

Despite the weather we had a lovely few days in Whakatane. The Bach was perfect for our needs and a fully fenced garden for the dog is an added bonus. Just sorry we couldn’t use the pool!

Lovely little accomodation

Very clean and tidy and Trish was absolutely lovely. Made us feel very welcomed and nothing was too hard. The only thing I will say, is the pull out couch is quite uncomfortable. Otherwise, perfect

A great base for our trip to EBOP

We (2 adults and a dog) stayed here for 5 nights in March 2025, with trips to Kawerau, Tauranga and Opotiki.We found the unit to be clean, modern, secure, private, well-equipped. The owners are friendly and helpful. And Sandie is friendly, playful, affectionate, delightful. (Sandie is a dog.). We didnt use the pool, but it was tempting.We lived nearby back in the 70s, so we knew that it is a good neighbourhood, (We also knew that its not "close to Ohope" any more than the rest of Whakatane - a short drive over the hill to that lovely beach).We would stay there again, and have already recommended it to family and friends.

Cottage with Pool

Lovely little cottage. The single bed is in a room with no ventilation so was very hot. Nice to have the pool and poolside seating. It is near Whakatane township but we thought it was near Ohope when we booked, so was a little confusing.

Lovely stay in quite location

We were met when we arrived and was immediately made to feel welcome. The unit is exactly as described. The single bed room is small but you don't need more for sleeping. We have a lovely stay and would book there again in a hart beat. Thanks.

Overnight Stay

We arrived at night time, the hosts we very nice to talk to, rooms and whole space was wwlcoming and homely, there were even games to play in which we got to have a game of good ole "operation". Nice location for an overnight getaway.

Cabin gem

Lovely clean and cosy fully equipped house with pool and tidy grounds. Very welcoming hosts who valued your privacy and made sure you were welcome to use the pool and barbecue area if needed. Friendly dog a bonus. Highly recommend.
