Imagine staying in your own entirely private oasis - while still being under an hour's drive from anywhere you want to visit on the island, East or West, and with amazing beaches, restaurants and attractions only minutes away?

We are located mid-island in a private neighbourhood for easy access to everything you want to see and do when you visit Roatan - without the stress of crowds. Our home has its own private plunge pool, barbecue and fully equipped kitchen, smart TVs in every room, a beautiful dining area and 2 patios. There is high speed internet throughout the house, including on the patio and pool areas.

The space
Casa Simon is not just a rental property with minimal amenities - it is our home when we are in Roatan!

Our kitchen is fully equipped with excellent appliances and gadgets, and basic needs such as condiments, spices, coffee and tea are available to use. There is a microwave, dishwasher and many items to make your stay great (blender, coffee maker, rice cooker, sandwich press etc). The kitchen bartop has stools for 3 people

Our beautiful dining area seats 6 and we have everything you need to set it perfectly with wine glasses, candles - just add a nice bottle of wine,

The main living area has a large sectional sofa that pulls out to a Queen sized bed and a Roku TV, and large glass sliding doors to access the pool and patio and provide amazing views of First Bight (you will want to wake up early at least one day to see the sunrise - it is breathtaking!)

The main floor laundry has a washer / dryer and there is a 2pc bath as well in this room.

Each upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and its own en suite bathroom with a large tiled shower stall. Each room has its own Roku TV. There is also a workstation with desk and drawers in each bedroom. There is a walk out from each bedroom to the upper deck area with lounge chairs and a fantastic view of First Bight.

The showpiece of the property is the main floor patio and private plunge pool. The view from this deck and pool is spectacular and the surroundings are a tranquil and lush jungle. Although our home is just off the main road, you will feel like you are someplace truly isolated from the more hectic pace of the tourist spots.

*ELECTRIC CHARGE NOT INCLUDED*. You will be billed separately for the electricity you use. Since air conditioning is the major user of energy, the house is set up with separately controlled air conditioning units in each room to help you to manage your electricity use, and ceiling fans as well. Because we are on a hill with good breezes, you may not even need to use the air conditioning. Depending on the season, you might get away with just enjoying the natural ventilation our location provides. Recent guest expenditures have ranged from $20 CAD per week with no air conditioner use, to $100 CAD per week with normal air conditioner use (we have not had a guest exceed this amount, but it could be possible if air conditioners are left on all day with doors open etc.)

*CLEANING* - We include cleaning for up to 3 hours in the price of our rental. This should be sufficient to complete the cleaning under normal circumstances. If cleaning takes in excess of 3 hours, and additional $50 USD cleaning fee will be charged.
