The walk-on ocean front is ideal for beach combing through the rocks and sand,
feeling the sea breeze in this a nature lovers paradise. You will see harbor seals
playing, and birds singing while you relax on the deck before your adventures
begin.

The space
Wake up to beautiful sunrises with spectacular views through the large windows of
the great wall overlooking the Salish Sea. This west coast inspired 3-bedroom
home can accommodate up to 6 people. We have 3 queen size beds and one twin
bed in the loft along with the office space. The open concept kitchen and living
room offers spectacular views of the ocean, lush foliage and mountains from every
window. Enjoy the large patio deck preparing dinner on the BBQ or snuggle up by
the wood burning fireplace after you relax in the electric sauna after a long day of
exploring the area. The spacious new granite countertops and fully stocked kitchen
is set up for all your cooking needs. This space has a wonderful vacation setting
and close to all amenities. This is your home away from home and We hope you
enjoy it as much as we do. Woodhaven is a great base for exploring Vancouver
Island because Deep Bay is a centre-point for many adventures and attractions.

About the area
Bowser is situated in the area known as Lighthouse Country on the east coast
of Central Vancouver Island. Named for the stretch of coast between the two
lighthouses in Qualicum Bay and Deep Bay. Qualicum beach is close by with all
the amenities and restaurants. Horne Lake Caves Provincial Park is a 35 min drive
where you can experience the magic of the underground world in the many
protected caves. There are also many beautiful scenic trails in the area including
the Lighthouse Regional Trail, Bowser Ecological Reserve, Rosewall Creek
Provincial Park. Or MacMillan Provincial Park. Spend a peaceful afternoon
paddling and exploring the Ocean or the shoreline of Spider Lake. The
Nearby Fanny Bay is famous for its Fanny Bay Oysters.

Welcome to lighthouse country in beautiful Bowser, B.C. Our home is Located
between Courtney and Parksville. Just 40 minutes from Comox Airport and 30
minutes from the Town of Qualicum Beach. The town of Bowser has a well
stocked grocery store, post office, liquor store and more.

Denman island ferry 15 minutes then transfer to Horby Island

 Do not walk on the red ocean deck or lean/ sit on the railing as this deck is unsafe.
 Watch children at all times by the ocean
 Restricted area no walking by the creek or over the gazabo.
 Beware the ocean stairs are slippery
 Parking 2-3 small vehicles only, 4x4 is recommended. park one in front of the garage one on
the bank and one in the side yard, Keep the public/ shared turn around space clear of
vehicles

 Pets allowed: dogs less than 15 pounds (limit one pet total)
 Smoking Smoking is not permitted
 Landscaping in progress
 Smoking or vaping is not permitted on the property
 You will be responsible for any damage to the rental property caused by you
or your party during your stay.

‬ Other things to note
We recommend a 4 X 4 vehicle with good snow tires or chains during winter
months when it snows as the driveway is steep.
Parking is in front of the garage for two car’s, one more car can be parked around
the back, or on the side of the hill there is a creek back so there please careful in
the dark or walk around on the road to the front door. This is a shared turn around
area please be mindful of the public space to allow vehicle turn around room.
There is a spare folding bed located in the bedroom closet along with a top foamy
for added comfort, it’s best for children or young adults, toys and a playpen can be
found in the main floor bedroom.
We have a "smart tv" for those nights you want to unwind. Featuring Netflix,
Prime, Roku with hundreds of movies, tv shows and documentaries on demand.
Pleased note in heavy rain or wind the tv can sometimes cut out, we have tons of
board games and puzzles to keep you busy on those rainy days. If there is a power
outage, we have provided lamps and lights above the kitchen fridge in the
cupboard.
