Deep Bay Ocean Front Cottage - Private Getaway with Hot Tub

This cosy two storey cottage is a hidden gem. Enjoy a picture perfect view from any window or read a great book by the fire. Savour swimming in the sea, walking in the tide pools, strolling along the sand bar, watching the soaring eagles or relaxing in the sun. If you ever want to explore beyond the cottage, just minutes away, there is golfing, fishing, hiking, kayaking and more. Bring
your kayaks and paddle board.

The many amenities close by include a grocery store, a liquor store, a drug store, a post office and a great art gallery/gift store. In just 20 minutes you can drive to Qualicum or Courtenay/Comox. Seascape Cottage is a fabulous find for artists and photographers alike.

Come and enjoy our little piece of paradise.

Please note
 this is a cabin surrounded by trees and foliage. There will be insects in the home on occasion. Also, our drinking water is the best on the island
 no need to bring bottled water. It is crisp and refreshing!

We have a landscaper that will be on the property every Friday. If you feel that this will affect your privacy please feel free to let us know in advance.

Wonderful property and as advertised

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and scenic house and property. A beautiful outdoor sitting area provided us with stunning views of the coastline with wildlife and sea life abound. We made very good use of the hot tub where again we had the opportunity to enjoy the scenery around us. The house is well appointed and the fireplace was an added bonus for us. We were on a golf holiday and the location gave us access to good golf courses within 50 minutes of the house. Our hosts were highly responsive for the very few times we needed them. I highly recommend this property.

Perfect private waterfront haven

This place is such a gem. Quiet, private, fully set with everything needed for enjoying walks on the beach, or admiring the amazing views from the hot tub, or curling up with an earthenware mug of tea in front of the fire. Lovely Any Time of Year

This is a very comfortable seaside home that offers all that it claims to. Everything you need, plus much more, is provided. The hot tub sits perfectly to enjoy the water views, and the night skies. The location is ideal for a private getaway in the woods and on the beach, offering privacy as well as convenience to shopping and local attractions. We look forward to seeing it again in the summer.

Peaceful Setting

We had a fabulous visit this summer. The house is well stocked, the location is idyllic and the stay was restful. Hit the low tides lucky and spend a few hours on the sandbar daily. Lots of games, laughs and memories.

Private and peaceful

Driving down to this property you realize just how private it is. Million dollar views on a quiet tranquil beach. The kitchen is well equipped as we ate in most evenings, watching the wildlife both in the water and the surrounding trees. An eagles nest was our version of TV as the fledgling was learning how to fly. Binoculars and telescope are provided. The balconies were not cleaned which was a shame as it would have been lovely to sit out there in the evening with a glass of wine, but there is plenty of outdoor seating below. Hot tub was used everyday with plenty of room for all. Very enjoyable week, lots of space, lots of light

What a lovely property!!

Our stay was for 5 nights at this beatiful and well appointed property. My Son, Daughter in law, 2 kids (5 & 10 years old) our little dog and myself - ample room and comfy beds for all! Thank you so very much to our hosts Kathy & Joanne, for your wonderful welcome goodies, and for being so incredibly quick in responding to our issue with the hot tub (which was resoved same day!!). The view is spectacular, and your garden beautiful. Plenty of beach combing was enjoyed by the kids (and the dog!!) A mama deer and her fawn greeted us in the yard one morning whichywas a highlite for the kids!! Simply a slice of heaven - thank you again!!

Wonderful Seaside Cottage

We booked this for a get away for my parents with my sister and her spouse. The location was fantastic being incredibly private and relaxing with great vista views and awesome amenities. Beyond expectations ,a truly unique stay

Staying in Deep Bay, British Columbia, was an unforgettable experience that exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, every detail was meticulously thought out, and the abundance of amenities made it feel like a home away from home. The thoughtful touch of sparkling wine upon arrival added a special touch to our stay. One of the highlights was sitting outside on the patio and being greeted by a curious bear, a truly unique encounter that will stay with us forever. Additionally, the sight of wild eagles soaring overhead, nesting in the area, added to the natural beauty of the surroundings.and so many seals in the area . BC coastal haven

This was a return visit to this BC haven - a beautiful home with amazing vistas of an almost private beach. Hot tub with a view of the ocean is the perfect way to relax on a grey fall evening. Beds are super comfortable for a good night’s sleep. The wood-burning fireplace draws so well, and sets the perfect backdrop for a cosy night in. Highly recommend.

Amazing Stay

From the moment we walked in and saw the view, the layout and the complimentary bottle of bubbly we knew we had made the right choice. From an 18 month old to grandparents this place worked for all. Twice daily trips to the water, the occasional hot tub and all day relaxing made for an amazing trip. The only thing that would have enhanced the experience is if "Bowser Moon" was doing a reunion show somewhere close by :-)

Peaceful Oceanfront Getaway!

We loved, loved, loved our stay at the Seascape Cottage... it just went by way too fast! The hosts and property manager were super accomodating and we all had a great time. Every bedroom had an ocean view so we could wake to gorgeous sunrises over Chrome Island every morning. All the little touches, including fantastic art, locally made soaps & beautiful pottery were very much appreciated - we had everything we needed. Beds and furniture were all super comfy and the hot tub amazing. Pure bliss!

Lovely place right on the beach!

We were welcomed with a bottle of bubbly for the birthday celebrations! Very nice touch! Loved all the glass ware and beautiful pottery dishes
