Trade the hustle for a "contented sigh" at this stunning, waterfront retreat. Located directly on beautiful Dixon Lake and close to downtown Gaylord. Dixon lake is clean, spring fed and tranquil in addition to being an All-Sports lake. Super close to premier golf courses, ski resorts, snowmobile trails, restaurants and other attractions. This 4 bedroom, 2 bath cottage is fully furnished. Perfect location for events at Sojourn Resort!

A beautiful shoreline buttressed by natural large rock, featuring a built-in staircase for easy access to the water where guests can enjoy a refreshing swim or use the kayaks provided. We also have a small dedicated sand area perfect for the kids, leading into a sought-after sandy-bottom lake. Unwind at the fire pit, complete with comfortable seating—ideal for lakeside s'mores and storytelling.

Beach/Swimming: There is a sandy play area just above the rock wall, then steps within the rock wall that lead to the water to swim.

Coffee Maker: There is a dual 12 cup and single portion Keurig coffee maker. Keurig pods are provided.

Dock: There is a 12 foot dock at the property-Memorial Day through Labor Day. Water depth at end is 4-5 feet.

Drinking Water: Well water.

Drugs/Smoking/Fireworks: Freshwater does not permit illegal drugs of any kind on the property. Due to the location of the properties, smoking is strongly discouraged around the home and strictly prohibited in the home. Fireworks are prohibited at a Freshwater location for the safety of all persons in and around the property, even if it is legal in that city.

Fireplace: There are two small electric stove fireplaces to enjoy at the property.

Fire-pit: Yes there is a fire pit. Please provide your own firewood.

Fishing: There is excellent fishing at the property. Large Mouth Bass, Pike, Panfish and Muskie have been caught in the lake.

Fishing License: A license is required to fish in Michigan.

Privacy: Neighbors nearby

Snowmobiles: a person (resident and nonresident) that operates a snowmobile in Michigan is required to purchase a snowmobile trail permit. The trail permit enables snowmobilers to ride state-designated trails and thousands more miles of public roads and on public lands (where authorized). It is valid for one year, which begins Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30 of the following year. State-designated trails are open Dec. 1-March 31 and grooming occurs when there is enough snow on the ground.

Special Features: This home has a stunning lakefront area with a dedicated small sand area, a rock wall with stairs between that lead to water access, a concrete patio with fire pit and seating, and 4 kayaks for guest use with life jackets. Corn hole and other toys are available as well. Home also has a Levoit HEPA air purifier.

Seniors: While seniors are more than welcome, there are numerous stairs to the main living area in the home and the stairs leading to the lake front areas.

Televisions: There are two televisions with streaming service: 1 in the main living area (47 inch) and 1 in the ground level family room area. (47 inch)

Towels: All bath and kitchen towels will be provided during your stay. Please bring beach towels with you!

Washer and Dryer: Yes
