Enjoy a stylish mix of open plan, mixed indoor/outdoor living, with modern amenities wrapped in one of Paddington's finest classic Victorian terrace homes.
4 double beds + fully equipped home office. Equidistant to the CBD & Bondi Beach. A short walk to the harbour foreshore, Centennial Park, the SCG/SFS & the concert district.
A stone's throw from the area's cosiest pubs, buzzing restaurants & local cafes.
A peaceful walk to the train via the tennis park, one block to the bus. Do Sydney well.
Stays greater than 3 weeks will have a cleaner come every two weeks, included. Similarly, a gardener will come monthly for any stays over a month. Also included.
The home is a mix of indoor and outdoor living. From warm fires inside in winter. To spring coffee on the balcony watching the world go buy. Outdoor dining becomes popular in the courtyard during the warmer months, with the BBQ at close hand.
The back glass & steel doors bifold completely. As does the back wall down to the media room. Put on your favourite sport or movie, sit in the courtyard with a drink, enjoy the BBQ. Set up the outdoor tables if you wish to dine outdoors and enjoy the weather and the quiet surrounds.
Mobile and fixed Sonos devices are set up around the house for music fans.
The home has four bedrooms with a queen or king in each room. Room for 8 adults. There is a blow up mattress and plenty of room for a cot if needed.
The bedroom in the second structure - the separate studio, has been converted into a home office, with double desks, wifi and connections. This is a quiet space, deliberately separate from the main house to enable guests to be productive should they need to be working.
The fourth bedroom has been moved to the converted, renovated second floor, attic space (seen in the images).
The home has air conditioning & heating through out. There are two working fireplaces.
There is on site parking available with access from the rear lane straight into the garage.

Originally from Sydney and have returned to the city after a long stint overseas. We still have the travel for long stints for work, so like to make sure the home is used and lived in over that time.
Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft
The location. It is close to the beach for an ocean swim. A short jog to the CBD for work. We often walk and run in Centennial Park. We walk to the cricket, rugby, cinemas and concerts in the Moore Park complex. A walk to the Double Bay ferry (easier walk down than up). There is a lovely cafe and two great pubs within 100 metres of the house. And another on the same street 250 metres down. It is only 400 metres to a grocery store and all the Queen Street amenities. The Paddington Boutiques are a short walk for the shoppers. A few hundred metres to the tennis courts and Trumper Park. Not too far to Rushcutters Bay park and the marina. A short walk to the bus or train.

In my view, the garden. I am obsessed with the little patch of lawn. So few terraces have the greenery. Also being set back, lets the light, particularly once we turned downstairs into an open plan space.
And the outdoor dining ! We love setting up the tables and chairs and enjoying the long days out in the courtyard over a nice meal.
