Very spacious, modern and well set out. Very sunny and warm. Excellent for a family, with large bedrooms and three bathrooms and the water opposite, although very tidal. There is room for children to play on the section as well as the grassed area by the beach with a playground further along. Everything was very clean and I particularly liked the idea of a separate TV lounge. All the furniture was very comfortable, and all the artwork was a delight. The dairy was close as was a cafe just along the road. The trip into Clevedon was short with plenty of cafes and shops to catch your attention. For the keen fisherman there is the wharf a short drive away in the Waitawa regional park as well as rock fishing spots further along the coast. The boat launching facilities at Kawakawa itself are excellent with plenty of room on the property to park your boat/jet skis. Highly recommended for couples just wanting a short break or for families.
