Sanctuary Vacation Rentals is proud to present "The Loft"! This home sleeps up to 6 guests.
If you want to spend time in Carmel-by-the-Sea in a quiet neighborhood that is walking distance to the beach and downtown, this may be the home for you. Truly unique in its layout, The Loft is a vacation home where you can make lasting memories and enjoy all the comforts of home.
Layout
Park in one of the two covered spaces located underneath the home and ascend the stairs to the elevated main entry deck.
Enter the main portion of the house to find the living space, 2 bedrooms and their bathrooms, or enter the studio which is home to the third bedroom and its bathroom. The house backs to a verdant canyon and the elevated situation allows for tree-house-style views into the canyon and out over the neighborhood.
Living Space
The living area has high ceilings and an open concept. Furnished with a large sectional sofa and an upholstered arm chair oriented toward the gas fireplace, and a dining table that seats 6+ that is perfect for meals or games.
Wifi-enabled Smart TV with streaming options - guests should bring their logins for their own subscription services for all TVs in the home.
Kitchen
The fully equipped kitchen has granite counters and sleek black and stainless steel appliances including a gas stove top, full size refrigerator and a small-scale (18") dishwasher. A kitchen bar area is home to two counter stools for casual dining or chatting with the chef during meal prep.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Main House:
Bedroom #1 has a king bed, TV and an en-suite bathroom with a standing shower.
Bedroom #2 has a king bed, TV and an en-suite bathroom with a shower-over-tub combination.
Studio:
Bedroom #3 is in the detached studio which has a queen bed, TV and an en-suite bathroom with a standing shower.
Two stacked washer and dryer sets are available - one in the main part of the home and one in the studio.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum. Please note that the yard is not fenced, but the elevated deck has a railing. Dogs should not be left on the deck or in the home unattended.
Off-street parking for two vehicles in the driveway which is under the house. Street parking is very limited in this neighborhood. Two cars maximum are recommended. An outlet that can be used for electric vehicle (EV) charging is available for use between the hours of 12am and 5am - guests should bring their own cord and adaptor.
This home is a monthly rental and we request that all nights of your stay are within the same calendar month. Some exceptions may be possible, with the approval of our team and the homeowner.
