Only 1 mile from the Michigan Line!! Our craftsman style bungalow features a portico enveloping the beautiful porch ready for your morning coffee!. Enter through the solid wood front door w/ the secure electronic keypad. The home is laid out shotgun style, the living room has a new (fall 2025) sectional sofa & chair, plush rug, 55 in Smart TV you can use our Sling acct or stream your favorites. There is super fast Wifi and a dedicated work area off of the living room. The fully equipped kitchen has white cabinets w/ matte black pulls, a deep single basin sink w/ pull down faucet, Stainless appliance package including dishwasher. Electric oven w/ teapot, and Keurig Coffee maker w/ K-Kups & creamer. There is also a Brita Pitcher, pots & pans for cooking, cooking utensils, knife set, 2 seats in barstool area, Toaster & more! The kitchen area is accented w/ a rustic wood wall, butcher block counters, terracotta backsplash & dimmable lights as well as a ceiling fan.

BR #1 has two windows w/ shade & curtain, Queen bed w/ memory foam mattress, vintage cedar armoire to hang clothes & it houses extra sheets, towels, washcloths etc. There is also a reading lamp, ceiling fan & luggage holder in this room.

BR #2 has two windows w/ blinds, Full bed w/ memory foam mattress & Twin memory foam mattress trundle. There is a vintage dresser to house extra sheets & blankets, a small mirror as well as fan & ceiling fan, & there is a luggage holder in this room.

The full bath has been recently updated also w/ tile shower & pull down handle, we provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash if you left them at home. There is a solid surface vanity & lots of 2 ply TP, plush white towels, Qtips, Cotton balls, blow dryer and more. This home is on well/septic, so it does have harder water that leave spots on metal even when clean. There is an Air mattress at the property as well as ample blankets & sheet sets.

Through the back walkway you can choose to go to the expansive deck overlooking the large fenced in yard, OR to the basement w/ washer and dryer available for your use. There is also a 2 car garage, guests can use the keypad to park a vehicle inside.

Central AC keeps you cool in the summers.

This is a historic home, it is not new construction although it’s been recently renovated.

Sleeping arrangements for up to 7: Queen bed, full bed, twin trundle, sectional sofa, fold out chair. There is an air mattress onsite as well.

Our home is located in a residential neighborhood in Sylvania near commercial businesses, restaurants, gas stations, I-475, US 23, The University of Toledo, Lourdes College, and Downtown Toledo. It is 1 mile from the Michigan line and about 40 minutes to Ann Arbor. A short drive away are the Toledo Museum of Art, Toledo Zoo, Stranahan Theatre, Glass City Center & more.

Our home is professionally cleaned after each guest, we try to keep the cleaning costs as low as possible while maintaining a high standard of clean, we never require guests to do dishes/laundry but it is helpful if the outgoing guest starts the laundry & dishwasher since many of our incoming guests ask to check in early.

Because some bookings are back to back, it can be difficult to accommodate early check-in and late check-outs. If you need additional time in the home please consider booking an extra day. If our cleaner completes the clean early we do our best to notify the incoming guest that they can check in early.

By booking our home you agree to not smoke anywhere on property. This includes cigarettes, cigars, cannabis, vaping and E-Cig. Furthermore, you understand that if you or any guests are confirmed to have smoked a $250 fee will be imposed.

By booking our home and bringing pets you agree to be a responsible pet owner and follow all local leash laws. You agree to pick up after your pet and understand that a $100 fee will be imposed if it is confirmed that your pet had accidents in the home or was not picked up after. You agree to pay for any pet damages.

Please keep in mind that staying at an VRBO is different than a hotel. The usual nightly rate of this home is less than $100, although it can be higher during weekends/holidays. We stand by our home being less costly than a local hotel room while accommodating more people and being pet friendly. We ask that guests be kind when it comes to leaving reviews. VRBO reviews of 4 stars or less can result in the listing getting kicked off of the platform. We are open to honest feedback. Guests are provided with a direct maintenance number should maintenance be needed during a stay. An info sheet is also located at the property near the front door.

Since VRBO discourages communication outside of the platform we ask that our personal cell phones are used for emergency purposes only.
