Our concern was simply making sure your dog wasn’t left unattended in the backyard, as we have landscaping, pool, and other service vendors who may need access to the property during a guest’s stay. Unfortunately, we don’t always receive an exact time or advance notice of when they will arrive. We also sincerely apologize for not following up regarding the pool company’s schedule. For any maintenance issues during your stay, we provide a dedicated local maintenance phone number inside the home, along with a QR code that lets guests submit a work order directly to our maintenance team. This is the fastest way to receive assistance. Reporting maintenance concerns through VRBO messaging can delay communication, as our on-site maintenance staff does not monitor those messages. Regarding supplies, our listing clearly states that we provide a starter kit of essentials upon arrival. We do not stock consumable items such as toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, toiletries, or similar supplies for the entire duration of a stay, especially in a home designed to accommodate up to 20 guests. Once the starter supplies are used, guests are responsible for purchasing any additional items they may need during their vacation. As for the hot tub, we responded promptly, and our local pool technician had it operational the following day. We appreciate your comments and will continue working to ensure guests understand our communication procedures and the amenities provided before arrival.
