Welcome to Redwood Cosy, a newly built house in the heart of Hanmer Springs created for design lovers looking for an easy escape with family or friends.

Redwood Cosy is set amongst the oak trees and redwoods in a quiet close of Hanmer Springs, tucked away from the hustle and bustle but still within minutes of the action. With 4 generous bedrooms including two master bedrooms each with ensuites and room for up to 11 guests, the house is ideal for families, friends or group bookings. 

Discover spacious open plan kitchen, dining and living area extends seamlessly to a generous private outdoor entertaining space, creating the perfect setting for relaxation, or simply enjoying the alpine surroundings. Settle on the sofa and watch the clouds roll over or curl up on the window seat as the sunset lights up the trees.

 

Each bedroom features ducted air conditioning and luxurious linens, while the living areas are stocked with board games, puzzles and children’s books to enjoy.

Cook 

The kitchen is equipped to create memorable meals. Our pantry is stocked with cooking oils, vinegars, herbs, spices, dry-goods and tea and coffee.

Coffee machine with beans provided. 

BBQ for outdoor cooking. 

Entertainment 

A Smart TV is available to allow you to hunker down and watch a movie or catch up on the latest series. The house is also well stocked with board games, cards and puzzles to wile away the evenings and rainy days. We also have a few toys and books to help entertain the kids. 

Relax 

Enjoy your morning coffee at the window seat looking out to the mountains and the trees. There are lots of cosy nooks to enjoy in the Redwood Cosy. 

Heating 

This modern, fully insulated house retains heat exceptionally well. A fully ducted heat pump provides cosy warmth throughout, while a wood burner adds evening ambience. Bathroom underfloor heating keeps your toes warm. 

Bathrooms 

Each master bedroom has its own ensuite. Downstairs a shower and separate WC serve the family and bunk rooms well.  

What do we need to bring? 

Bring your food, drinks, personal luggage and swimming towels and the rest is on us! 

There are plenty of great restaurants and places to eat at in Hanmer Springs. There is also a well stoked Four Square for all your grocery needs any essentials you may have forgotten. 

We provide bath towels but please bring your own pool tools. 

Hand towels, face clothes, bath mats, and tea towels are supplied. 

You will arrive to all beds made. 

We have a porta-cot available on request. 

NOTE! Parties or events of any kind including photo shoots are prohibited unless arranged officially with the host. Redwood Cosy is located on a quiet close next to the Oakview Boutique. This is not a good location for extra guests and parties. Please be honest in your booking about the number of people staying and if you plan to invite extras - communicate this in advance. We will organise our cleaners for the larger group and add the extra occupant fees to your booking. 

You will have full, private access to the entire property.
