"We are deeply disappointed by this review, which is a clear attempt to use a 2/10 rating as a retaliatory tool after being held accountable for unprecedented property abuse. While you booked for 8 guests, you hosted a local reunion with over 30 people. Despite my personal phone call on day one where you assured me you would be respectful, the house was left in a condition our manager has never seen in years of service. Extensive Damage: Your group caused damage to furniture, electrical systems, door hinges, and a sink. The sewer system overflowed due to the massive, unauthorized over-capacity. House Rule Violations: Evidence of smoking was found inside the rooms, and the property was left completely trashed, requiring a professional crew an entire week to clean and restore. False Claims: The 'intrusions' you mention were necessary emergency interventions by our staff to address utility failures caused by your group’s activities. Using a low review score to deflect from the thousands of dollars in damages and the total disregard for our home is unacceptable. We have documented all damages and will be pursuing this through VRBO’s formal claims process. We cannot recommend this guest to any host."
