Was great for a short stay with our dog. Close to the beach & had everything we needed for our holiday. Newer bathroom & functional kitchen. Comfortable living space & the trampoline was a hit with our kiddo.

Perfect property for a family beach getaway. Walk to the beach and local bowling club for dinner. It’s an older house but had everything we needed. It is a 20-30min drive to huskisson (which I thought we could walk to down the beach) but you can’t. Would happily stay here again , and we were Lucy enough to get an early check in.

Happy House Callala

Great property had other family staying close by so perfect position to be close to each other. Pet friendly good yard for the dogs as well.

Location is amazing, short walk to the beach! Overall stay was great and cosy, only dislike was the art through the house - hate clowns lol! Would love more of a beachy aesthetic to suit the property, then it would be 5/5.

A little group of us went up it was a lovely stay. Had to stay at the house the entire time due to weather and it was really comfortable and the range of movies that were there helped keep the time going. Thank you so much for having us

Great location, only 3 minute walk to the beach

Good stay, in a really good location. You’ll need to bring most toiletries (and bed linens) but it’s in a very good location. A bit older, but you’re more than likely to spend most of your time around the beaches. Good stay for the price.

Cosy, quirky and happy. Close to the beach and bush

Lovely quiet location, lots of wildlife. The house itself has great character. We all felt very at home here. We would definitely stay there again. The house has everything you might need and more. Would be a great house for family.

Happy house. Callala beach

Overall we were happy with the house, kitchen was a bit dirty with splattered food down the cupboards and the shower needed a good scrub. And the cobwebs outside should be cleared. But the house felt inviting and the beds were comfortable and the beach was lovely and very close.

Hi - the stays advertisement clearly stated the accommodation the house had air conditioning however it did not. We would not have booked the property if it didn’t have air conditioning. It made the weekend very uncomfortable. Please update the stays advertised so others don’t get the same nasty surprise.

We encourage guests to review the full amenity list and property description carefully prior to booking, as the property’s features are disclosed upfront. If you believed there was an error in the advertised amenities at the time you booked, that should be raised during the stay so it can be checked and addressed at the time, in line with our requirement that issues are reported when they occur. If air conditioning throughout the home is essential, we recommend selecting a property that clearly confirms that level of coverage for future stays.

Overpriced decent place

The house is in decent shape. It is located in Callala Beach on Jervis Bay, which in itself is a beautiful spot but 35 km from where one can find restaurants and cafes. This was not so clear from the ad. We stayed for 4 nights and had to bring linen. Given the price I think linen should be provided; I also don't fancy the additional laundry on returning.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the location. Most of our coastal towns are located a short 20 minute drive into Nowra which is why people enjoy it so much. It does state online that linen is not provided, sorry this is something you may have missed when booking.

No WiFi and expensive for what it is

No WiFi and poor phone reception. Not especially clean as coated dust on the numerous 3D pieces of décor. An extra and quite hefty cleaning bill in addition to rental cost is a bit much, and the “complimentary toilet roll” just sounds as stingy as it is! Lovely garden and great location though.
