Chiyo Seian is located on the west side of Shirakawa, in the heart of many tourist attractions.

It offers convenient access to numerous famous places such as Gion, Yasaka Shrine, Chion-in Temple, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Sanjusangen-do Temple, Heian Shrine, Ginkaku-ji Temple, Nanzen-ji Temple, and Eikan-do Temple.

It is approximately an 8-minute walk away from Higashiyama Sanjo bus stop, Higashiyama Station, and Sanjo Keihan Station. 24h convenience stores and shopping streets are also in a walking distance away from the location. Because car traffic is prohibited in the area, the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful at night. Our guesthouse was completely renovated in 2025, transforming it into a more comfortable space. Nestled on a quiet street, it offers a peaceful retreat while being right into touristic area.
