The Rainforest Suite: cozy & spacious Suite right in Downtown Elora

Looking for the perfect little escape from the hustle and bustle? Welcome to The Rainforest Suite — your peaceful, private oasis tucked right in the heart of charming Elora, Ontario. Whether you're a couple, a family, a group of friends, or flying solo, this suite is a great spot to relax, explore, or even get a little work done (if you must).

The space: The Rainforest Suite is a spacious, bright basement apartment with your own private entrance and self check-in process, allowing for a seamless and hassle-free check-in experience. Run by the friendly mother-daughter duo Kelly & Kendra (hi!), we live upstairs and are always happy to say hello, offer local tips, or lend you a corkscrew, but we also totally respect your need for peace and privacy. This stunning 1 bedroom suite comes equipped with a luxurious king & twin bed, full bathroom with both stand-up shower & bathtub, full kitchen, dining area, living room, smart TV with Netflix and access to a shared backyard space. You will get to enjoy the shared backyard pool and seating area in almost complete privacy as we the owners won't bother you out there with the exception of using our BBQ.

Bedroom: Fresh linens and towels are provided so no need to worry about bringing anything from home!

Bathroom: Bathroom is fully stocked with soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, a hair dryer and extra towels.

Kitchen: We have a full kitchen so you can enjoy the comfort of cooking your own meals. The kitchen includes a full size fridge/freezer, 4 burner stove top, oven, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, kettle and all dishes/cookware needed. Tea, coffee, oil and basic spices are provided complimentary for guests. Don’t feel like cooking while on holiday? That’s great because Elora is packed with a variety of amazing bars and restaurants to suit whatever you may be in the mood for! From delicious comfort pub food to stone-oven pizza to an elevated, formal dining experience.

Outdoor space: Guests have access to the pool, seating area around the fireplace, 2 lounge chairs and yellow chairs included in their stay. Please note the outdoor space is open seasonally, roughly between May-October. If you have a booking in either May or October and want to use this space, please reach out to us so we can let you know if its set up & ready (often weather dependant).

Location/Elora: We are centrally located, positioned across the street from both the beautiful Bissel Park and The Elora Centre for the Arts. We are also only a 5 minute walk to downtown which is packed with amazing shops, cafes, restaurants, galleries and more! There’s loads of walks and hikes located nearby as well as the Elora Gorge Conservation Area for various activities. So if you’re looking to shop, hike, try new delicious food or just hide out from people for a while, we are the place for you! Unsure of where to go? We are more than happy to fill you in on the best places in town and will happily make reservations for restaurants to make your stay as smooth as possible.

Optional Add-on: We love to go the extra mile for our guests to make their stay as special and memorable as possible. For this reason, we offer a continental breakfast service delivered right to your suite for an additional $20 per person per night. This includes fresh fruit, yogurt with an homemade organic granola and honey, free range boiled eggs and toast with a selection of spreads. GF/vegetarian/dairy-free available on request. Please request this when booking.

House rules: nobody loves rules, but everyone needs them to ensure each guest's experience is as phenomenal as it can be. Please find our few simple rules to follow to ensure an exceptional experience
Check-in: please check-in anytime after 3pm
Check-out: please vacate by 11am
Check-out rules: please start the dishwasher if you used dishes and turn off all lights when you leave. Leave the rest to us :)
No parties
No smoking/vaping
Breakfast - if buying breakfast, please add-on when you’re booking or let us know a minimum of 24 hours before the start of your stay
No fury friends - we love all types of pets but the suite needs to be pet free for allergy reasons
No additional guests
