A classic Australian Federation-style home, stylishly renovated to blend original charm with bold, designer interiors. At the centre of the home is a striking open-plan living area, styled with plush seating, a dramatic black feature wall, and seamless access to the leafy courtyard. Whether you’re watching a film, relaxing on the lounge, or enjoying the fresh air, it’s a space that brings people together.

The gourmet kitchen is both functional and stylish, featuring a sleek island, gas cooktop, Nespresso machine, French press, rice cooker, microwave, and everything needed for effortless home cooking. Just above, the elevated dining area invites relaxed meals around a glass-top table, softly lit by a sculptural pendant light. Outdoors, the sun-drenched courtyard offers a peaceful retreat with lush greenery and outdoor seating, perfect for morning coffee or laid-back alfresco meals.

Three queen-sized bedrooms are thoughtfully spread across two levels. Upstairs, two beautifully styled rooms sit beneath vaulted ceilings and shuttered windows, each featuring a queen bed and a generous walk-in wardrobe. Between them, a refined bathroom offers a generous walk-in shower, bespoke vanity, and elegant designer tiling. On the lower level, the third queen bedroom offers a dedicated workspace, ideal for remote days. A second full bathroom and a well-equipped laundry with washer completes the ground floor.

Comfort is assured year-round with split-system air conditioning and heating in all bedrooms and the main living area. Enjoy a curated selection of board games for downtime. For families, a high chair and a portacot are available on request. This home offers secure garage parking for two small to medium-sized vehicles, with a height clearance of 1.7 meters and an EV charger for added convenience. Additional free street parking is also available nearby. The garage can also be accessed from the courtyard.

Please be mindful when approaching the property. There’s a beautiful fig tree near the front footpath, but its roots have caused some uneven ground. Watch your step as you walk along the path to the house.
During your stay, you will have the entire house to yourselves inc. the back courtyard. Please make yourself at home!

Set in one of Sydney’s most walkable and vibrant neighbourhoods, everything is close at hand. Just a two-minute stroll away, Camperdown Memorial Rest Park offers green space, picnic spots, and playgrounds. In eight minutes on foot, you’ll reach King Street—Newtown’s iconic dining strip. Savour dumplings at Best Gourmet, Italian fare at La Favola or Vietnamese favourites at Tre Viet. As night falls, King Street comes alive with buzzing bars like Kuleto’s and ANTE. The University of Sydney is a 12-minute walk away, and Enmore Theatre is just four minutes by car for live music and comedy. Just five minutes by car, Carriageworks offers a dynamic mix of art, performance, and a lively Saturday farmers’ market. Newtown station is an easy 11-minute walk, with direct links to the CBD.

There is a portable travel cot available at the property which we can set up for you if requested. Unless specified, the portable travel cot will be placed in the primary bedroom of the property.
Note that our portable travel cots do not come with linens (sheets) or pillows. You would need to supply these items yourself. The property also has a highchair available, which we can have set up for you if requested.

Sydney is a warm, urban city, and occasionally a bug or two may find its way inside, sometimes through a window or balcony door. This property has been professionally treated at the start of summer and a spray is provided as a backup. This can occur and is quite common in city homes, and does not reflect the cleanliness of the property.

Please note a $100 charge applies for guests bringing pets.

Sustainable, refillable toiletries are provided and are intended to be reused, not discarded. These items help reduce single-use plastic waste. If any bottles are thrown away or removed, replacement costs will be charged to the guest.
