You can't beat this oceanfront location with 180 degree ocean views. Situated just steps away from a beach side trail system and the large sandy beach of Asilomar State Park and adjacent Spanish Bay in Pebble Beach®. Enjoy amazing sunsets, ocean breezes and the dog friendly beach and trails just outside your front door.

While this classic beach cottage is a new addition to the Sanctuary Vacation Rentals program, this home has been open to guests for many years, previously hosted by the Homeowner who racked up scores of wonderful reviews from hundreds of guests who have greatly appreciated the stunning location and the rustic charm and good vibes of this home. It is a true vintage 'Beach House' where you can actually experience whale watching from the living room couch!

Living Space
The 1,603 sf home is simple, sturdy and comfortable. As of 2019, the home was renovated with new baths, new paint, new tile floors, new carpet, window coverings, light fixtures etc. and has been lovingly maintained ever since.

Downstairs features an open floor plan with a large living room, dining room and kitchen all flowing from one to the other.
Large picture windows along the front of the home take advantage of wide open views to the beach.

The living room features a large wood burning fireplace, comfy couch and easy chairs, a game table, satellite TV and Stereo.

Kitchen
Kitchen is well-appointed with lots of cookware and gear. Adorable vintage cabinetry is painted in an aqua tone and is paired with modern stainless steel appliances including a large refrigerator and gas stove/oven. Dishes are done 'old school' as there is no dishwasher, but since the kitchen sink faces the ocean, the task of washing dishes is fairly painless!

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Upstairs there are three comfortable bedrooms, all with huge windows, comfy beds and flat screen satellite TV's. There is also an upper deck overlooking the dunes and the beach.
Bedroom #1 has a king bed.
Bedroom #2 has a queen bed.
Bedroom #3 has a queen bed.
The upstairs full bathroom has a shower-over-tub combination and is easily accessed from the hallway by all bedrooms.
The downstairs full bathroom has a standing shower.

Outside you will find a fire pit in the sand, perfect for just have a seat on one of the benches and gaze at the stars. The night sky is incredible as there is little nearby ambient light!

The famous recreation trail that stretches from Pebble Beach to Santa Cruz is just across the street and stretches in both directions. You can walk to Spanish Bay Resort (roughly a mile) for world class dining, or wander along the trails of the Asilomar State Park.

The charming town of Pacific Grove is home to delicious restaurants and cafes, galleries, boutique shops, a movie theater and all major conveniences. Don't miss touring historic Monterey, Fisherman's Wharf, Cannery Row and the Monterey Bay Aquarium, all within a 10-15 minute drive.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.

A laundry center is located in the garage.

The garage is not available for guest parking at this time but up to 6 vehicles can fit in the large driveway.
