Welcome to the Wyong River House! We hope you enjoy our little nature escape, the perfect place to relax and enjoy the calmness of riverside living.
Our home sits back from the road, surrounded by trees, directly on the banks of the Wyong River - a zen escape from the noise and bustle of the city, although only 1 hour 15 minutes drive north of Sydney’s CBD!

We believe we have made the perfect home-away-from-home for you to enjoy with your family and friends! The River House has a large driveway with space for up to 4 cars to park just in front of the house. The house is mainly on the first floor, up a short flight of stairs, allowing you to enjoy beautiful views over the garden and the river. The decor is neutral and relaxed, so as not to distract from the stunning surroundings.

We have everything to make you feel comfortable and at home, including a large couch, a full kitchen with modern appliances and coffee machine, two bathrooms with a large bathtub to relax in, a spacious balcony with outdoor dining area and BBQ, a large deck with space to lounge on the sun, and last but not least - a swimming pool for you and your fellow guests to enjoy!

With direct river access from the back garden, we want to make sure you enjoy the beauty and peace of being out on the water - we have kayaks and life jackets available for your use. You can paddle around close to home, or if you’re feeling adventurous you can head down stream to Tuggerah Lake for wide open water views (and you’ll most likely see a pelican or two!)

If the beach scene is more your vibe, the house is ~20 min away from multiple beautiful central coast beaches, including Forrester’s Beach, Shelly Beach and The Entrance.

We’re just a few minutes from the town centre which has pubs, restaurants and a small shopping centre; and only a short drive from the large Westfield shopping centre and restaurant precinct.

You will have exclusive access to the house and garden for the duration of your stay, with keys left for you in a secure location on the property. But if you need any help or advice during your stay do not hesitate to get in contact with us!

Other things to note:
The fire pit in the back garden is available for your use, and is perfect when sitting by the river with a cold drink in the fading light of evening - but please pay attention to any bushfire notifications, and do not use the fire pit during total fire bans in the area.

As the property has a deep swimming pool and direct river access from the back garden, please ensure children are supervised at all times.

Unfortunately, we regret to inform you that pets are not allowed on the property.
