I think your review is rather unfair as the place was cleaned prior to your arrival and post your arrival. The price we charge is under median especially for this time of year so it's a pretty good deal. If it were that unclean you should have told us whilst you were there and we would have had a cleaner come and clean it to your satisfaction. There's not much we can do after you leave. Letting us know would have solved the situation for you .We are not unreasonable and want guess to enjoy their experience, but we do expect communication with our guests so these situations do not occur or are quickly remedied. No one has ever complained about a lumpy mattress. We have ensured that the bed is very comfortable. The place is a beach property and it is subject to insects so we do our best to keep that to a minimum, but a cockroach or two does not a holiday ruin. I think perhaps you're looking for an upmarket hotel at bargain basement pricing. Perhaps that's what you should look for in your next stay. Our property has been well received by many guests over the years. The gate is secure so I'm not quite sure what your problem was there. I might remind you that there are not too many properties that actually allow animals, so rather than seeing that as a negative, I think perhaps we should be commended for allowing guests to bring their pets. I'm sorry you had Not one positive thing to say about our beautiful property. It is quite sad that your experience was miserable, but I'd say that it's all a matter of perspective.
