Nice calm place for vacation

Peaceful location

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The accommodation was very clean. The location was easy to find and in a lovely peaceful location with beautiful ocean views. The unit was pleasantly decorated with lovely extra touches. The garden was lovely with quirky garden art and visiting native birds feeding on the provided bird feeder. All up it was a very pleasant and relaxing place to stay.

Not good

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very steep driveway and a lot of steps to gain access to property and the yard which is very dangerous as there was no lighting. The kitchen was very basic - not enough plates, bowls, glasses etc. I had to go buy a mixing bowl as there was nothing to use for salads or for mixing.The only table and chairs was outside and it was very cold. The cupboards in the living room is for clothes and so I didn't appreciate coming out of the bathroom to get some clothes and having the owner walk past looking into the kitchen window. There was little quiet and privacy as the owner lived up stairs and was thumping around and the neighbours were quite noisy as well. 4.8 rating - I don't think so.

Nice spot a bit away from central Lakes with a terrific view. Small but very well appointed and everything you need for a couple of days away.
