The Penticton Getaway Carriage House is your own personal oasis!

Operating since 2019, this is a cute, private, and modern space all to yourselves. Perfect for up to 2 people who want to be close to the action. A quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the beach, South Okanagan Events Center, Farmer's Market, and all the best restaurants!

This is a fully inspected and licensed short term rental in Penticton. It complies with all safety and other required regulations...for your peace of mind!

You can choose to stay in and cuddle up in front of the 55" HDTV with AppleTV to enable your access to your personal Netflix or other streaming service. The bed is very comfortable, and with high end linens. High speed internet makes streaming movies easy. There is an HDMI cord so you can also hook up your computer to the TV if you're not into wirelessly streaming via the Apple TV.

There is a beautiful table for 4 to allow for hosting dinners or playing one of the selection of games provided, with friends. There is a full kitchen (minus an oven) with stove, microwave, fridge, freezer, cutlery, plates & dishes, pot & pans, cutting boards, etc. And there is even a dishwasher to make the clean up easy! We've also provided a Keurig coffee machine with easy single serve coffee pods and cream and sugar to ensure you have a fantastic cup of coffee when you rise in the morning. We have also provided a re-fillable Keurig coffee pod if you prefer to avoid the single use coffee we have available; so please feel free to bring your own coffee to reduce waste.

The bathroom is very clean and has a stand up shower with a luxurious rain shower head. There is washer and dryer in the carriage house free to use during your stay (unlike many comparable places that charge for washing).

Modern furnishings and decorated with art and pottery from your hostess, Sanaz Busink, a local artisan. If you fall in love with a piece of art or pottery, they are for sale! Paintings will have a price tag, and the pottery go for $40/piece. Please contact Sanaz during your stay if you are interested in seeing additional works of art or have questions.

Outside you will find your own very private sanctuary on the patio complete with furniture and patio umbrella to provide some shade on those renowned sunny Penticton days.
Guest access
You will have your own dedicated parking space off the laneway, directly adjacent to the carriage house. There are signs to let you know that you're in the right spot. Please use this spot once you have checked in.

You will have access to the carriage house and patio within the fenced area inside the property.

No pets.

For stays of 1 week there is no cleaning service. After you depart our cleaners will perform that for the next guest. If you are here for two weeks or longer there will be one clean per week, usually on the middle Saturday. The cleaners will access the house at some point during the day, but not before 10am. Of course, if there’s something extra you require, please don’t hesitate to ask and we’ll see if we can accommodate you!

Bikes - The Getaway Carriage House is not designed to store bikes inside. Ironman Triathletes or other cyclists, we can provide our personal secure bike storage to you for $20/night as long as we have made the arrangements ahead of time. There is a security camera that monitors the secure storage. If you're the type of person that needs extra security, there is also a Kryptonite 16mm Stronghold Anchor that you can lock your bikes to inside of the already locked secure storage as long as you bring your own locks. Despite all of the security we have provided, in a quiet and friendly neighbourhood where we have not heard of any break ins, you should note that we are not responsible for the theft of any of your personal items during your stay. Cash payment is due upon your arrival along with a $100 key deposit (which is the cost to replace the ABUS Granit lock key if it is lost). This deposit will be returned upon your departure.

This is a detached 425 sq. ft. carriage house. The owners live in the main house on the property if you require anything to improve your stay, or would like information on the area.
