Gut: Check-in, Kommunikation, Lage und Genauigkeit des Onlineauftritts
Hi we enjoyed our stay, the location has a beautiful lake view, very quiet and accommodated our family well.We brought our own activities, and decorations for Christmas and had a great time. Unfortunately there were some cons, basement was cold so some guest went home at night as they had smaller kids and we live about 35 miles away, not sure if the fireplaces work as we’re not sure how to use them but the forced air vents didn’t flow well downstairs. The house needs a good paint job some areas look dingy including paint chipped bathroom faucet. The basement looked most recently upgraded with a beautiful tub/shower room but the toilet room was moist and moldy, I could smell and see it through the paint (I’d suggest kilt). Also, the garage was counted on the listing as two available spaces but a truck was there that occupied both. When cleaning certain areas upon arrival I did notice areas like the table and floors could’ve been cleaned better, I wiped the table with a Lysol wipe and it didn’t look like it had been cleaned thoroughly or it could’ve accumulated dust since the previous guest but it seems as someone was there recently. One of my guest stepped in fresh dog feces and I also driver over some. Last, the initial check in email came from “evolve” not “ vrbo” and states to check another site for all check in info/ password to get in but there’s no link or site to click that directs you to the page they stated. I called vrbo and they helped me very quickly though!
