Our family had such a great time! The unit was perfect for our needs. The kids loved the pool. My husband and I loved the grilling area put back and easy access to the beach.

Great place to stay!

This was our first time at Bogue Shores and we were really impressed with the facility. The grounds were immaculately kept, the pool was clean and large. We had coffee every morning in a glider overlooking the sound. The walkway to the beach was right across the street. I feel like the bathroom could use some updating, but it was certainly functional. We will definitely stay again.

Decent place for weekend stay

Well kept grounds, nice picnic tables and swings facing the sound. Very nice pool. Flooring in the room was nice, and the kitchen area was well-stocked with utensils and appliances. Cute decorations and furniture. Downsides: the room had a musty smell and I didn’t see any smoke detectors. Bath linens, especially hand towels, were worn out.

Hi! Sounds like you had a nice stay. Thank you for booking with us. Can you tell me a little bit more about the musty smell and where it could be coming from. I have just recently had new flooring and a new ceiling put in bath so want to make sure all is in working order. The sheets and towels come from a service and I will let them know they were worn. Hope you will stay with us again. The smoke detector should be up but I will check on this as well. Thank you for letting us know how we are doing and what we can do to make our unit the one you want to come back to!!!!!

Everything as advertised. Spoke with owner on site. She is very pleasant and gave suggestions for attractions in the area. We really enjoyed the pool, which was well maintained. The location was perfect for what we we’re looking for, in walking distance to the ocean with nearby attractions, The people we met were welcoming and we plan on visiting again in the near future. I recommend you visit, it won’t disappoint.

The room is in a good location and beach access is easy. Beds most definitely need to be replaced. They have added foam pads to the bed but one bed is severely hollow and the springs pop when laying on it.

There are only a few things I would like to note. Christy the owner was very nice as was Wes and Sheila the grounds attendees. This was our first time staying in this unit. The beds are really needing to be upgraded, very uncomfortable and old. May want to bring extra shower towels to dry off with, the ones provided were small and only 4 total for 3 adults. Wes did bring 2 more larger towels to us. Other than that we had a good time as we usually do at Bogue Shores.

Awesome stay

This was our first time in this unit but our 4th year staying at this complex. It is a wonderful unit and both Sheila and Christy were wonderful to work with. The last renter did not leave the car passes or the room key but Wess got our car passes immediately upon arriving. We just used the spare key during our stay. Excellent communication when a problem came up. The unit was clean and very nice. Absolutely loved the size of the shower. We look forward to returning soon. I definitely would recommend this unit and this complex. Close to everything and as always I loved fishing from the dock.

But pool was great!!!!!

Three out of six lights didn’t have bulbs, washcloths were thin and stained, one of the mattresses felt like you were sleeping on cardboard boxes, just old and dingy. Lefts two days early because woke up during nite and kitchen counter was covered with bugs. The maintenance people , Wes and Shirley , we’re very nice and went out of there way to accommodate us. The pool was really nice and easy access to beach.

Always a good time at Bogue Shores

Room was clean and met my needs. When at the beach, I spend a lot of time outside, so this property was great for what I needed it for. I've stayed at several properties at Bogue Shores in the past and this one did not disappoint.

Great location and lovely pool

Nice first floor location directly by the pool; had a problem with the keys but the on-site property manager ( very nice man) dealt with the issue immediately to correct it.
