Ensuring guests have a wonderful stay while residing in a home that we have the privilege to care for is of paramount importance to the entire 30A Sea Story Team. We were a little disappointed to read this review of Kimberly's experience in the home. As part of the standard cleaning process, our cleaning team removes ALL food and beverage products from the home. Nothing is left in the residence, so there would not be anything to attract ants. In the review, Kimberly mentions that she saw ants in the residence the moment they checked in; however, the first time this was brought to our attention was three days into her stay. We responded to her message in six minutes and let her know that we regularly treat the home for pests. We immediately offered to sending someone over to the home to spray, but she declined to provide us with a time our technician could come by. Water filters on refrigerators are replaced as soon as we see the light on the refrigerator indicating that it needs to be changed. When replacing filters, we do use premium filters that adhere to NSF 401, 53, 42 and 372 standards. Unfortunately, our regular supplier was backordered on these filters so it was not able to be replaced during the guest's stay. The filter has since been replaced. We do not provide a garage door opener that guests can carry with them; however, there is a remote keypad mounted on the garage door frame and guests are provided with the numeric code used to operate it. As far as bicycles go, we do provide two bicycles for the home as a courtesy to our guests. When Kimberly's reservation was confirmed, we sent her a standard confirmation message via the VRBO platform which conveys more information about the home and the arrival/check-in process. It also lets guests know two, complimentary house bikes are included with the rental. They made aware that GoodPedals, our trusted bicycle service provider, extends a 10% discount on additional bicycle rentals for all our guests when they are in residence.
