2500 acres community with plenty of green space and Treasure Lake being the focal point we offer 50 condos and cottages accommodating up to 8 guests each, 3 outdoor pools and beach, 18 hole championship golf course with Country Club, Dockside Marina Restaurant and Bar, hiking and biking trails and playground, Our luxury accommodations with Southern charm feature spacious studios, one and two bedroom condominiums and cottages with loft. All units have fully equipped kitchen, screened in porch, washer and dryer, electric fireplace (except in studios) and TV’s in all rooms. Fairfield Plantation offers all the comforts of home with the seclusion and relaxation you expect when on vacation.
All the Tara II condominiums offer a maximum of space close to our outdoor pool. The screened-in porch invites to lounge around and for outdoor dining. The master bedroom with king bed is open to a spacious bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and separate large shower. The guest bedroom features two queen beds and has its own bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar is open to the living room with dining nook, pull-out sofa and fireplace. The additional half bath offers comfort especially when the unit is used at its fullest capacity.

Everything was great! we drove in from Texas to spend Christmas with the family and my husband's daughter. It was so much fun and so convenient! The back patio was my happy place the whole time! My stepdaughter loved the "swimming pool" in the bathroom! she was a mermaid! Will definitely stay here our next trip!

Tara Villa stay

We enjoyed the quiet ambiance of the villas. Someone DID have a small dog that was barking but it was inside and didn’t go on and on, so that was good. The lake is beautiful and serene. The boating on the lake was minimal during our October stay. It was so relaxing.

Great stay!

The place was great. It was easy to find and check in and out was easy. It was clean. There were some maintenance issues with lights being out and outlets not working, but nothing that was an issue for us. The concierge program they use is wonderful. We had a question and the guy was there within 10 minutes to help. I would stay here again if we are in the area.

Good location poor housekeeping

There is potential for this to be a better property. The location is beautiful, the layout of the condo very nice. Housekeeping was terrible. There were used towels from previous guests still in the unit. The floors were filthy, with debris that should have been vacuumed and unwashed kitchen and bathroom floors. They could stand to clean up and update some of the older items that are in poor shape. There were several power outlets that were not functioning or pulled out of the wall when disconnecting

We are terribly sorry for this and followed up with the housekeeping manager who took appropriate action with his staff member. This is definitely not our standard. I saw that the outlet has been promptly repaired after you reported it. Again, this should have been reported by housekeeping. We hope that you will give us another chance when you come to visit the area!

Not clean

There is what I assume was drywall dust behind the king size bed. There was dark spots on the sheets and I found a roach. The online check in process was incorrect. It says after 4PM to check in at the gate. However, at 4:45 the gate did not have the box. I was informed to come back later instead of referring me to the office. I called the office and was advised to come in to get the keys.

Hi Cristin, Sorry about the confusion with the check-in. Our office is open until 5pm for check-in and after that time it is at the gate. And as to the dust...we are in a lake community in Georgia's deep South, with waterbugs that do enter occasionally. We therefore try to treat the units! Our housekeepers are doing a great job, but it may happen that they miss a few spots and a dead bug here and there. We sure hope to see you again!

Amazing Place!

There are not nearly enough accurate reviews of this beautiful place! When I first booked through Vrbo, I was skeptical that it was too good to be true. I felt this way due to the reasonable price and the reviews. Let me tell you, it was true! This place was PERFECT for our family. It was so clean and nicely decorated. They think of everything that you will need, right down to the tiny salt and pepper shakers. There was coffee, filters, popcorn, all the kitchen essentials, laundry soap, shower gel, soap, extra garbage bags, and tp etc.! They didn't forget a thing. The condo is climate controlled and SO comfortable. Our family of 4 each had their own space, but it will comfortably sleep up to 8 people. There are 2 full baths and one 1/2. The master suite has a whirlpool tub that we enjoyed. The screened in porch was perfect with a view of the lake and pool. The sunsets were breathtaking! One really neat thing that they have are journals dating back to 2002! Many families that have stayed there have written about their experiences. It is a must to read! The marina is walking distance for a great meal. My husband and son also caught a lot of fish while we were there. Finally, the check in and out process was a breeze! You will get instructions on what to do only a couple days prior to your trip. Do not panic! You will receive a text with a person you can contact whenever throughout your trip and they check in on you once to make sure all is well. I highly recommend!

Fun getaway

We actually live in the neighborhood and we’re hosting a friend staying with us from out of town. The location was great. When we arrived - the place was not very tidy and dead bugs were left, but a call to the desk was easy and they came and cleaned it better for us.
