The property served our needs: accommodating a large group and convenient location to nearby family. There are actually 4 bathrooms, which was a relief! But it is even more... interesting... in person than the photos present. Not what we would have selected if it didn't meet those needs. Bath towels need replacing, many were quite tattered. Kitchen supplies were sparse and/or low quality.

Out of State Work Lodging

We stayed at Zen Country for about 3 weeks as a lodging for out of state work lodging. It was a PERFECT alternative to hotel rooms. We loved the comfortable bedrooms and the excellent kitchen to make meals instead of having to eat out every night. Two members of our group truly enjoyed the surrounding outdoors taking walks and/or hikes every single day! The house was both cozy AND spacious for everyone to be able to retreat to their own areas at the end of the night. We would absolutely recommend this location to another group traveling to this area!

Fun little getaway

The place was beautiful. Unfortunately we were up there for a wedding so we didn't get to spend as much time on the property as we would've liked to. The property has lots to do outside (darts, cornhole, fireplace, grilling) and lots of games and things inside as well. We had a really good time. The host was very helpful and friendly.

SO MUCH FUN!!!

The house, the property, all of it was just FUN! We had 8 out of town guest in for a wedding and had enough room for us all to have our own space but still be together. The home is eclectic and whimsical and the use of the space is amazing. Evrything you need to just relax and enjoy your time there is included and easy to locate and use. We enjoyed using the outside grill and firepit. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Has that “Zen” vibe!

This house is perfect! Had a large crowd due to a wedding and there was enough space for everyone. The house is clean and well stocked with various items. All the bathrooms had extra personal hygiene products (shampoos , soaps, toothpaste, etc.) just in case. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Gigi stayed in contact with me from booking all through our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend Zen Country.

Great Place for Family Gatherings

This was a great experience. It allowed us to stay as a family and celebrate our mother’s 70th birthday with ease and comfort. She got to see 3 generations of family members in one location. It was an emotional heart warming weekend, all made possible by Zen Country Properties. The location was surprisingly close to all necessary amenities like grocery stores. The property was clean, had plenty of towels and kitchen items to accommodate our large family. I only wish it was warmer weather, so the kids could have enjoyed the huge yard and the outdoor amenities. Although we had the property managers number, we didn’t need to use it the entire weekend. I would definitely rate this property a five stars and would definitely stay there again.

Misleading listing and overpriced

The property manager, was helpful and check in was easy with a key pad on the door, but that is where the the good report on this property ends. The house itself was a huge disappointment and overpriced. The listing is misleading. There is no way the house could sleep 18 if you needed it to, there were barely enough bed linens for the 12 we had. The property manager had to buy us towels because there were not enough. It is not clear that the extra fees for guests/pets are PER night. At that much extra per head, you had better be providing the necessities such as towels for those people. The pricing is for a premium rental property and in no way represents what you are getting Walking into the house, it felt like someone had been squatting there and left before we arrived. The kitchen is poorly stocked with equipment - 9 mismatched, plastic plates for a house that could sleep 18, a table that only seats 6, etc. The house is dated. It was dirty rags in the laundry machine, a laundry hamper on top with someone's laundry, food splatters on cupboards, a hookah (really?) in the kitchen and random collections of old toiletries, broken objects and hair in the drawers and under the sinks. A nail sticking up in the middle of a stair tread. A jacuzzi tub in the master is not the same thing, and should not be advertised, as a hot tub. I find it hard to believe that the 5 star reviews were from actual guests. We were in the area for a wedding, should have booked rooms at a hotel in Austell Kristen

In town for a birthday

The place was spacious & accommodated my family well. The amount of bathrooms was such a positive 4 full baths! The uniqueness & color scheme was a nice touch. I wouldn’t mind staying there again. However I do feel the towels & wash clothes need to be updated. I personally brought my own & i am glad I did.Otherwise no complaints. I also appreciated them allowing us to check in early. that was very helpful as we were exhausted from our travels.
