I’m Sam. I’ve been involved in building and renovating homes for many years, and I guess over time I’ve become a little particular about the spaces I create.

I really like a home that is clean, comfortable, organized, and easy to live in. I pay attention to the little things—not because everything has to be perfect, but because I know how much those little things can affect how you feel when you’re living somewhere.

When I prepare a place for someone, I try to think about what I would want if I were staying there myself. Is the bed comfortable? Is everything clean and in its place? Is the kitchen practical? Is there enough room to put your things away? Does the space feel calm when you walk through the door?

I also understand that everyone has their own routines and way of living, so I try to provide a home where you can simply settle in and make yourself comfortable.

I’m always looking for ways to make the homes a little better. I don’t claim to get everything right, but I care about them, and I care about the experience people have while they’re here.

More than anything, I hope you feel that you’re staying in a home that has been looked after, not just a place that has been prepared for a guest.

I chose this neighborhood because it gives you a really nice balance between having everything close by and still feeling like you’re living in a quiet residential area.

We’re in Midtown Toronto, around Yonge and Eglinton, with parks and green spaces within walking distance. There are cafés, restaurants, grocery stores, banks, pharmacies, shops, and a movie theatre nearby, so most of the things you need in everyday life are just a short walk away.

There are also major hospitals and medical facilities nearby, which is one of the reasons I think the location works especially well for people who are here for work, training, medical care, or an extended stay.

Public transit is close, too, so you can get around Toronto without having to drive everywhere. And if you do have a car, you’re still in a residential neighborhood where you can come home, park, and get away from the busier parts of the city.

What I like most is that it doesn't feel like you're staying in the middle of a commercial district. You have the convenience of the city around you, but when you come back to the residence, it’s quiet and feels much more like a neighborhood.

That was important to me when I chose this location. For someone staying for a few nights, convenience is nice. But when you're staying for a month or longer, I think it matters much more to have a place where you can actually settle into a normal routine and feel at home.

I think what makes this place a little different is that it was never meant to feel like a typical rental.

I’ve tried to create it more like a real home—comfortable, clean, organized, and thoughtfully put together. A place where you can unpack your bags, settle in, cook your own meals, do your laundry, get some work done, relax, and eventually stop feeling like you’re staying somewhere and start feeling like you live here.

The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood, but you’re still close to so much of what Midtown has to offer. Parks, restaurants, cafés, groceries, banks, shops, a movie theatre, public transit, and hospitals are all nearby.

I also pay a lot of attention to cleanliness and the little practical details. Things should be where you expect them to be, the home should be well maintained, and when you come back after a long day, it should feel good to walk through the door.

For longer stays, I think that makes a real difference. It’s not just about having a nice bedroom or a good location. It’s about how the whole place works together.

That’s really what I’ve tried to create here: a comfortable home in a great neighborhood, with someone behind it who actually cares about keeping it that way.
