Really loved this location. Such a lovely area with lots to see an do. The Port Frank beach was a real bonus, as was having access to the kayaks, cornhole boards, and firepit. We had such a great stay and would definitely return. When the propane tank ran out of gas it was replaced quickly and we were back in business. We would definitely return.

Beautiful rustic cabin on a beautiful treed lot. Perfect for girls getaway. Property had everything you needed, host very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Very well equipped cottage!!

I stayed here with a group of friends for a girl's weekend! It was chilly and we had some rain, so we were glad to have the gas fireplace. Lots of room in the cottage, and a big lot... plenty of room for outdoor games too! Loved the large fire pit.

Jorge and Ashleah are fantastic hosts with a great property that I would absolutely stay at again, we honestly wish our stay had been longer so we would’ve been able to enjoy all the amenities they offered! They have thought of everything from kids toys, books, a play pen, a high chair to the child sized plates and cups. This made our first stay away from home with our children much easier than I thought possible. My four year old is asking to go back to the bed with the stars on the ceiling. The hosts were great to communicate with for an earlier check in due to travel times. Their expectations and requirements were very clearly laid out and very relaxed compared to other short term stay spots I have been to before. If you want to enjoy a beautiful stay, don’t pass up this spot!

We had a lovely end-of-summer stay at The Cozy Cabin (4 nights). Our group consisted of two adults, two children (ages 12 & 14), and a small dog. We found the cabin well stocked: bedding, extra blankets, ample number of towels, dishes, etc. We really appreciated all of the "extras" at the cabin, especially the 2 kayaks (paddling in the nearby river was so pleasant!) and other outdoor games, the many board games (we had one rainy day), and the cleanliness of the property. The large fire pit and chairs out front were wonderful, as well. We had 3 campfires while we were there. We checked out the community centre to play pickleball, as well (what a nice facility!). We brought our bikes with us (which we stored overnight behind the cabin) and enjoyed bike rides to the nearby beach, marina, and through the quiet streets of Port Franks. We'd be happy to stay here again in the future!Great location & a lovely little cabin )

A very nice place

A very nice property in a really great little town on the lake. The front yard with swing and fire pit was great and the house itself has lots of space with three bedrooms, including two of the bedrooms with bunkbeds. This house includes a full kitchen, good size living room, and two TVs in case one wants to watch and one wants to play video games. There are plenty of amenities and accessories available, including kayaks and lots of kitchen, utensils, tools, and appliances. TVs include subscriptions to major video services. One very small warning if you are travelling with a large group, the water heater is fairly small with a capacity of about two showers. The owners are very responsive and look to help however they can. The woodstove and gas fireplace inside are really great as well. The beach is about a 10 minute walk or a two minute drive and the beach here is beautiful. Don’t miss the epic Lake Huron sunsets! Hiking trails nearby through the dunes and very friendly locals.

The cottage was excellent. Very clean and had all the amenities needed. Close to the beach which was great for young children. Highly recommend staying here. Hope to go back next year.

Such a lovely stay for my family. The house was a perfect fit to just relax and enjoy family time. We had fun checking out the area, enjoyed sunsets and lots of campfires. The house was stocked with many things you don’t usually see In these kinds of places. But, it really enhanced our stay. I highly recommend this place for your next family trip!
