Waterfront Piece of Paradise at Tiger Tail

This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home in a serene setting facing the private Hideaway community is just a short walk to Tiger Tail beach. The lush landscaping on the property creates a tropical setting and lots of privacy. All of the modern amenities you would hope for on vacation are here for you to enjoy! The master bedroom offers a king size bed with on suite in the back of the house overlooking the canal. The front bedroom, also has a king size bed, with TV and plenty of closet space. Lastly, the 3rd bedroom has 2 twins with trundles that can be moved around; accommodating 4 comfortably. Off the living/dining area, there is a slider that opens up to a heated pool with a large sun shelf for the little ones to splash around or for all to enjoy the Florida sun. Mike was an awesome host and did everything he could to make our stay amazing! Great communication and suggestions in the area for what was important to us and our interests. We rented a boat that was delivered right to the house and he gave us helpful tips and suggestions for that, too. Very comfortable for our family of 7, and the spectacular pool right out the back doors that open up to the screened pool area was a huge hit with the kids!

Great family home

Perfect location- a short walk to the beach! The pool was fantastic for smaller children (and older). Plenty of beach toys and umbrellas. Rent a boat and it’s delivered right to the dock! So fun :)

Beautiful Marco island rental

The property was as advertised, and we loved our stay. Really beautiful spot on the canals, close to the beach access. Pool was awesome for our family, kids loved the sun shelf. House was well equipped with kitchen items, beach gear, and towels, etc. Mike, the host, was very lovely to work with and available whenever we had any question. Would recommend this place!

Wonderful Stay

My family and I enjoyed our trip to Marco Island and Mike's house was a great home base. Check in was easy and the house was very clean and organized when we arrived. There were bikes and beach supplies available although we didn't use them. We enjoyed the pool and it was great for adults and children with the shallow end. Mike was very responsive and gracious host. We would love to come back again.

Great Family Getaway

We enjoyed accessing the beach walking through the lagoon, parking at Tigertail Parking lot, game nights poolside while littles swam, renting a pontoon delivered right to the dock, and paddleboarding the canals! We had a few delicious dinners poolside and enjoyed eating out a few times. Pizza one night delivered to the house too! Mike was very responsive and helpful if we needed anything.

Wonderful

We had an amazing, relaxing vacation. It was our first time in Marco Island, and we absolutely loved it. The house and pool are just as described clean and spacious. The Tigertail Beach is a short walk (10 min) and everything you need for the beach is provided (chairs, umbrellas, towels and etc.). Shopping and restaurants 5-10 min drive. Mike is always in touch and quickly responded whatever we needed his advice or recommendation. My kids loved the neighborhood and all the wildlife you get to see on your walk to the beach or simply seating by the pool. We even saw dolphins in the canal. Highly recommended, especially for families with kids.

Good location, a few improvements needed

We had a lovely time. House was clean and nice. However, living room Furniture was a bit stiff for relaxing, and not enough chairs at pool (3) or at dining table (4) for a house that sleeps 8. Some plumbing problems posed an inconvenience, but the host was very responsive in getting it corrected. Kitchen could use a cookie sheet or baking pan, otherwise was adequately stocked. Biting bugs at the pool were another considerable inconvenience. Compared to other VrBOs we have been to, the amenities were limited (no detergent for dishwasher, no Kleenex, limited TP). However, the house was a very good home base for a beach vacation with good beach supplies (wagon, chairs).

Lori I am truly sorry you feel this way about your noted complaints. I am very vocal and responsive whenever a renter has any kind of issue. I mentioned on numerous occasions to reach out if I could help in anyway. As far as the seating on the interior and exterior they were captured in the photos before you chose this listing. As far as the bugs go well… I enjoyed hosting your family and wish you well!

New rehab?

It seems they started to rehab the house. New floors. New furniture except bedrooms. Mattress was comfortable. Bathroom was recently rehabbed and very nice. Place needs new wall trim and a paint job. Looks dirty. The bugs killed me. I must have over 100 bites from no-seeums from sitting outside. The whole week was below average weather but the pool was nice and warm. Little bloodsucking insects you cant see.outside. Needs a few more kitchen items like a cookie sheet. Wanted to reheat some pizza. All in all very nice but definitely needs that paint and trim done soon. The owner answered my texts almost immediately and was very helpful and nice.

The owner was incredibly helpful and the house is beautiful and convenient.

Very much enjoyed our stay! We were the first ones to stay and the owner was very cordial, accommodating, and communicative. I came with my quarantine crew - grandmother, mother, husband, and two young children. We were looking for a place to spend quarantine away from the Miami crowds and this hit the spot. The beach is about a 5-10 min walk away. We had to cross a lagoon to get to the sand, and the beach had just a few people, so it was easy to social distance. We went once to a different beach (South Beach) that was driving distance but more accesible, but it was getting crowded, so we left. This house was the perfect place to stay indoors. The kids really enjoyed the pool, and the mosquito net and window that goes directly to the kitchen made it very enjoyable for the adults as well. We appreciated that the owner installed a latch on the door that goes to the pool a as child-proof mechanism. Beach essentials were there and even bikes! Highly recommended!

Perfect vacation home!

We had such a wonderful stay at this property!! The house was just perfect for our family. The layout of the common areas is very open and we all loved the view to the back with the pool and water. After a day at the beach my two young boys loved coming home to swim in the pool, and the sun shelf was perfect for my 3 year old who doesn’t like to go in the deeper end. There were plenty of beach and bath towels and the beach cart was a huge plus to lug all of our belongings. Communication with Mike, the owner, was excellent, and he provided all the info we needed very clearly. He was also very responsive during our stay. There is even a gopher tortoise living under the house and my boys loved feeding it apples and carrots! We made so many memories during our week here and would definitely recommend this property to anyone!

Great House! Morning Coffee on the dock afternoons bouncing back and forth from beach and pool and nightly happy hours at home. House was stocked with all the beach items we would need. Mike (the owner)was incredibly responsive and gave me the lay of land ahead of us arriving. I would highly recommend this rental.

Great Communication

Our stay was lovely. We will recommend this property to our friends in the future & reserve this place again the next time we go to Marco. Mike was great with providing information on checking into the house & when all the maintenance companies would be around. He also provided recommendations & advice on beaches, where to park & places to go to eat. We thought there would be fishing poles at the house, when we asked Mike about the poles; he let us know that there was none at the house; but that he just ordered 2 from Amazon. He called to let us know that they poles would be there the next day & recommended the bait we should use.

Wonderful experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We loved the location and proximity to tigertail beach and playground. So nice having bikes as the area was perfect for bike riding. Having items such as a beach wagon, chairs, etc was also great. Owner was very responsive and checked in on us several times via text to make sure our stay was going well. We hope to stay here again on future visits to Marco.

Florida in december

A wonderful place to stay- Mike provided us with a new pack and play and high chair. The pack and play fit in the closet perfectly and was a wonderfully dark “bedroom” for our baby! The pool toys and the pool made the trip for the kids. Great location.
