This getaway vacation spot is a one-level retreat including a private pool and hot tub. Also, as a 'Thank-You' for guests who choose my home, I offer a wine tasting experi*ence for up to four people at one of Chelan's boutique wineries, Ventimiglia Cellars, or a gift certificate to Chelan's local gourmet Mexican restaurant Marcela's.

Lakeside Alcove Getaway includes a kitchenette with a wine fridge, full-size fridge, ample appliances for cooking along with a microwave, bar seating, and an informal eating area. There is one private bedroom, one full bathroom, a bunk room consisting of four beds (two twins/two doubles), an oversized family room with excellent views of the lake and your own private patio pool lounge area. The patio area includes a BBQ grill.

From this house, it takes about ten-minutes to walk to town. It would take about a minute by car to drive to Slide Waters Family Water Park, all the jet-ski and boat rentals and the Lady of the Lake tour boat. There is private lake access with this home, a private buoy, and two small beach areas which are a two-minute walk across the street.

There are two parking spots on the daylight basement level.

Our family enjoyed our time immensely at this home. It is in a great location - close to all amenities of the city and recreational activities. Whatta dream place!!!

Carol was fast to respond and so lovely! We had an evacuation notice of level one and she was so kind enough to give us another night on another date. The pool and hot tub for the perfect size for my young boys, and my youngest even learned to swim in her pool!!❤️❤️ The view is absolutely fantastic—-we went jet skiing right across the street and the location is so nice to get into town. We highly recommend!!

Beautiful property. Loved having a pool for the kids to play in. Lots of room for our family/extended family (6 adults, 5 kids). Only downside was road noise, but the view and proximity to town made it worth it. Road noise wasn't bad first thing in the morning or later in evening. Property manager was wonderful!

Perfect retreat

Girl's weekend couldn't have been better here at this house! 2 full floors that provided so much space, very nicely decorated with everything we needed. Carol was an amazing host and so accommodating. Not warm enough yet for pool but the hot tub was so perfect for the little chilly night. Close drive to town and wineries. We hope to be back!

Family Reunion

My family gets together on my dad's birthday to remember him and my step mom. We all gathered at this lovely home and enjoyed each other's company. It was the perfect place to entertain everyone. Great stay

We loved this property. The view is gorgeous!! The owner is fantastic and very responsive. The downstairs was perfect for our teenage son and his friends and the upstairs was for us and teenage daughter and her friend. The boys had their own separate living area. The pool seemed small at first but it was all we needed, and was perfect. We rented a boat and there is a buoy to use. Highly recommend this place!

My name is Carol Carpenter and I've lived in Washington my whole life. I called Yakima my home for 47 years, knowing Chelan would be the final destination for me. My family and I have always loved Chelan. We vacationed here for 14 years before acquiring Lakeside Alcove Getaway. The surrounding mountains, crystal clear glacier fed waters of Lake Chelan, and the small community have always been a draw for us. So, we finally made the jump and purchased a home that we could both enjoy for ourselves and provide as a rental for families and friends to make their own wonderful memories. From my family to yours, enjoy some Lake Life on Lake Time. There's almost nothing better! I'm convinced!
