Hi Janel, Thank you very much for your feedback. This property was recently purchased and the owner has every intention of updating the unit, but this will most likely not take place until 2021. We feel we have priced the unit accordingly. It is a single-family oceanfront home, which is extremely rare and in high demand. We are very sorry about the trash. It does accumulate quickly in the summer months, and the usual pick-up date is on Monday, which is the day you vacated the unit. There is an additional Saturday pick-up in the summer, and we will definitely look into whether our personnel accidentally missed the unit, or if it was the trash company who skipped the block. For future guests or people considering this unit, we staff our office 7 days/wk and would be more than happy to reduce over-filled cans between trash pick-ups at no charge. We will look into the kitchen supply asap. The unit went live in mid-June 2020, and we ensured the proper amounts of all kitchen items our company requires were on-site. We apologize that the quality did not meet your standards. Southern California is currently conducting randomly scheduled power outages due to high temps, and excessive AC usage. We apologize for this inconvenience. We intentionally removed the lock from the pass-thru door in the garage, bc the remaining doors in the home are keyless, and wanted to avoid confusion when guests first arrive and park in the garage. We have since installed a sliding lock so the door can be locked from the interior. Thank you again for the feedback. It is very helpful for improving our properties and processes.
