Transport yourself to Tuscany (actually Santa Ynez Valley, California) and instantly feel the warm breezes flowing over the hills from the ocean. See the swaying branches of the Oaks, Olives, Cypress’, Sycamores, Peppers and Eucalyptus’. The nodding tall, golden grasses floating with the breeze. The perfect lines of the leafing vineyards with precious clusters ripening a little more by each day’s end.

This is Provence (Long Canyon Studios in the SY Valley) and a little piece of paradise on the top of a hill that draws your stare 360 degrees and 24/7. We are a few minutes, and the drive is spectacular, from the best restaurants, wineries and attractions of Los Olivos, Santa Ynez, Ballard, Solvang, Buellton, Los Alamos and the wine country of the SY Valley, but we are a world away from the hustle, bustle and noise. Except, of course, for noises from the world class thoroughbred horses, the sheep, the goats, the donkeys, the Lammas, the Texas Long Horns, the Brahma bulls and the fuzzy Alpacas.

You are in exclusive Oak Trail Estates and on Long Canyon road but you haven’t even entered our gate yet! As you enter your code and gates slowly open, you start to feel the energy build and the life of the property that we call Long Canyon Ranch. You drive up an enchanting, paved, slightly windy road and at the top you see our Long Canyon Studios perched on the hill between two massive Oaks with stunning views all round you. You are now in Mykonos! We offer an immaculate, adorable and fully stocked 2 bedroom 1100 square foot mid-mod Mediterranean adobe home for your getaway stay. It has been completely renovated and made new inside and out. There is nothing missing in our home from air conditioning to a stocked wine fridge. From the gourmet kitchen with Zia Tile backsplash, Café appliances including 6-burner gas stove, custom built massive island, modern furniture, sleepy comfortable beds with pressed high thread-count linens, the SAMSUNG FRAME TV, the CUSTOM JAPANDI BARN DOORS, the boho rattan hanging chairs on the deck facing the most breath-taking views. Just outside the mahogany wood front doors you will find the big white picnic table under the twin Oaks where you will be sipping Canyon Coffee in your parachute robes or enjoying a full table lunch feast of local wines and cheeses. Our house has 300 feet of fabulous, old-world, flagstone pathway circling it and accessing the natural landscape. Hardwood poplar board lines the roof while the pink-white pebbles glisten around the stone walkway below. Beauty everywhere you look as the lavender and grasses and fruit trees bend in the wind. Imagine waking up to the sunrise forming the early light and then blazing into vibrant colors (or close the blackout blinds and sleep in :), see the early fog burn off and then endless blue sky through the day softened by fascinating puffy cloud formations, picture heart-stoping sunsets at dusk and infinite stars and clusters at night. You may not want to leave the property. You are in Santa Ynez Valley on the top the Los Olivos foothills. The beauty, peace, serenity and seclusion is exquisite. (Although, we also offer high-speed WIFI just in case you are sneaking away from work but need to stay in touch :)

Like Porto and the Douro Valley, only minutes away you can wine and dine and taste what’s fine. Several ocean beaches are within 30 minutes, world class golf 15 minutes and shopping and attractions 10 minutes.
