Fishing/ Beach Getaway

Our home is perfect for a weekend getaway to fish or enjoy the beach. This is our home away from home. Both bathrooms were updated this year. We also got new furniture and put a deck on the back of the house.

We are five miles from Holden Beach and our community as a small fishing spot at the end of the street on the waterway.

There is lots of antiquing and shopping in the area. It is a short drive to Myrtle Beach outlets and Wilmington. It is 45 minutes to Myrtle Beach and 45 minutes to Wilmington. There is a fishing pier at Holden Beach five miles away.

Each of the bedrooms have queen size beds. Linens and towels for indoor use are included. You will need to bring beach towels and chairs. The living room is a huge open room and great for families to relax. The dining room table will seat 8.

There is ample parking in front of the house and a waterway access at the end of the street.

Internet is provided. Our internet is password protected and will be given the password with the key code on the day of your reservation. Internet providing by FOCUS. We have a SMART TV.

Lockwood Folly Country Club und River's Edge Golf Club sind einen Ausflug wert, wenn du etwas unternehmen möchtest. Perfect location

Fantastic getaway a quick drive to the ocean, walking distance from the intracoastal waterway. Spacious, comfy, easy quick drive to Carolina Beach or Myrtle Beach.

Perfect for family getaway

We truly enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for little ones to not feel stuck. I grew up coming down only a block away. We felt at home, we will definitely stay again.

A wonderful trip

We we're all very happy with our time spent at this property. The home was clean, cozy, and well furnished. The property is in a quiet neighborhood with only a short drive to get to the beach which made for our perfect weekend beach getaway.

Great getaway

Our stay was great, the house might not look big from the outside but it was spacious and there's plenty of room for a family. The neighborhood didn't look too great but everyone we encountered was friendly and nice. No busy road so we could let our 8 year old ride his bike without worries. The house had everything we needed. The water access at the end of the street is ok for fishing and great views of the Intracoastal waterway. There's no pier just a beat up boat ramp. Easy drive to the grocery store and to the beach. Communication with the owner was easy. Thank you!

Nice Getaway

Our family came to Holden Beach for a weekend getaway. The property was as listed and it was nice that there were towels and dishes as well as paper products available. We had a small hiccup with locating the property but we were able to contact the property owner and they got back with us promptly. The proximity to the beach was approximately 5 minutes which was very convenient. Overall, it was a nice property.

What is a deck to you these were wooden steps to get out of a trailer not a house.

Very disappointed impossible to see boats on waterway. If I had brought a gun I could have shot two big fat rats

Wow !!! THIS REVIEW IS SO UNFAIR. I called the first day to asked if everything was ok. He accused me of falsely advertising my property. I was told my listing said, "Relax on the deck and watch the boats go by." It does not say that anywhere. He made a mistake and wanted me to compensate him for HIS error. I explained over and over he made a mistake. Somehow it was my fault that his error was now my problem. We go overboard to make sure we represent the property just as it is. Good current pictures, and very clean. Cleaner than a hotel room for sure. This house has never been lived in full time. It is in excellent condition and we have a new roof and air conditioning this year. He didn't want to hear that. We have owned this property 21 years and I never seen a mouse much less a rat. I'm sure he reached out to VRBO wanting his money back and VRBO told him the house listing didn't say that and it doesn't.

It needs a water hose to wash feet after a day at beach . Extra tv and internet use for guests. A antenna for local news and weather.more cabinet space for guests.It’s clean place nice Neighborhood and plenty of parking.

Great Beach rental

It was very clean, a lot of room, just about everything you would need in your own home was provided. Dishes, towels, washcloths, laundry detergent, etc etc you get the gist. Not far from the beach. Maybe a 10 minute ride. Quiet neighborhood, friendly neighbors, enough parking for 3 vehicles and still had room. Nice deck in the back, I just loves it. My other family members loved it. I will definitely rent this place again in the future. The owner Marsha was great at responding quickly and was very nice. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you so much Marsha!

The house was located in a quiet community which was nice. The hot water heater was not working. We tried contacting the owners and didn’t get a response. The neighbor even tried to help us out. The grill was not able to be used. It was rusted. This was listed as amenity for the property and we were planning to grill out for Father’s Day weekend. This didn’t happen.

Perfect family vacation

We really enjoyed our stay! Clean, private, quiet. Very spacious. The walk down the road to the inlet was beautiful in the evenings with our little boy. Very close to Holden beach. Sweet neighbors. We looked at a lot of properties at the beach but this is something special about this house. One of the things that is nice is the open floor plan. It makes it hard to take pictures but it is very open. There are no long hallways. The master suite is off the dining room and the other two bedrooms are on the other side of the kitchen, dining, Livingroom space. It flows well and is perfect to enjoy family.
