Hannah's family group based themselves at Earthbridge to explore the Hauraki Coromandel. A peaceful place to come back to, the outdoor bath proved a favorite. More than a stay, an experience. See you all next visit.

Henri and partner got to experience the peacefulness of an outdoor bath set in a private outdoor bush setting. The cottage gave them a warm cozy night despite the occasional winter rain showers. All in all an exclusive nights stay, in peace.

Just a fantastic place to get away from it all and spend some quality time with loved ones Tim and Viv are so knowledgeable about living sustainably and the fresh baked sourdough loaf was such a nice touch

We had an amazing overnight stay. The venue was exactly what our family needed to escape the busyness of city life. With no WiFi and no TV, we were able to slow down, reconnect, and truly enjoy each other’s company. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and the fireplace quickly became our “TV” for the night, such a simple joy. The views were beautiful, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. We were also treated to breakfast the next morning, which was a lovely touch and made the stay feel even more special. A wonderful getaway that helped us reset and enjoy quality family time. Highly recommended.

Great quirky home!

A wonderful stay! The home is in a gorgeous setting, with warm wood, stone and super creative tile finishes. Tim is a gracious host, with lovely home cooked bread and delicious breakfast was made available. We loved the fireplace and the secluded peace. Their place has everything you need for a comfortable stay.Thanks to Vivienne and Tim.

Clean, tidy, full of character. Loved the outdoor bath, the tranquility of the property and it’s closness to swimming holes. We went in summer but would be cosy in Winter. We will definitely be back.

Full of character in the most peaceful surroundings

Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay experiencing off the grid living in this little cottage packed full of character. Was so relaxing sitting in the conservatory in the sun looking out at the hills and enjoying nature. The only downside was that we weren't staying longer. Look forward to staying again in the future and exploring some of the walks in the area.

Much needed reunion with nature

If you feel like you’re glued to your phone or computer, give this place a try. Completely off grid all wooden cottage with some unreal views surrounding the property. Couldn’t complain if I was paid to, this place is a perfect weekend getaway for anyone needing a break.

Coromandel Retreat

Great escape funky home with unique decor and ambience. Friendly, accommodating owners who are knowledgeable and engaging. Tim took us on a nighttime glow worm trek. Fantastic breakfast. It might be helpful to make folks aware of road closure coming from the north. Our car gps didn't show this but we became aware when we used our phone map app.

Amazing Stay

We had a great weekend away in this lovely off the beaten track cottage under the Coromandel ranges. It was very peaceful with only the sound of the birds as company. The cottage is amazing with its Hundertwasser inspired tile work and a very special outdoor bath warmed by a fire . We also had a lovely breakfast of homemade bread and fresh eggs which was a nice surprise. Will definitely be looking to return and highly recommend. Thanks Tim & Vivienne

Peace and tranquility

This is an amazing property, just far enough away to be an oasis but close enough to everything you need. The breakfast provided is amazing, the tile work in the bathroom and toilet is beautiful, you don't get internet provided but there is coverage if you choose to use your own data - but why bother when this property is such a great opportunity to turn it all off and relax. We loved it.

Perfect Getaway

Right off the bat, I have to say, the owners are the loveliest people. Incredibly welcoming and gentle people. They like to check in and make sure you're stay is going well and always happy to answer any questions. [They also supply homemade sourdough- it's a must have try!]. As for the place itself, absolutely amazing. You're surrounded by nature and get to enjoy its luxuries such as the wildlife noises and being able to stargaze since there is zilch light pollution. The place allows you to slow down and truly relax. It's perfect if you just want to get away and curl up with a good book too. Thank you heaps for having us and we look forward to returning!

Amazing off grid property

This property was amazing! Totally off grid but such a unique experience. The walking tracks all throughout the property were great and well kept. The hosts, Vivienne and Tim, were super helpful and just awesome people all round. Plus a friendly dog was a bonus!

Perfect peaceful escape

Beautiful bach in awesome native bush. Great place to escape to and just relax. Hosts were friendly and helpful and the breakfast food supplied was delicious. We loved our stay here and will definitely be coming back

Absolutely phenomenal property with amazing service and stellar hosts. Best that I ve seen yet.

Tim and Vivienne are stunning, and the house is much better than advertised. Highly recommended as a headquarters for a week of exploring the area, romantic couples retreat, writing retreat, or even a group retreat space. Can t say enough for it
